After confirming and accepting payment Franica rented the space to another guest. She waited until my child and I was on the last ferry to tell me. There was a large event on the island so there we no other options but to stay in "alternate accommodation" that had exposed electrical wires, rotting food in the sink, and smelled of sewerage. It was unsafe and disgusting. She successfully had my review removed from Airbnb despite her admitting to fraud.

A modern studio, just outside thé old city, near thé walls and  in thé vicinity of the supermarkt and bakery.

A very Nice stayin Korcula

We made our reservations for the Francia at the last minute for Korcula, drove into town after dark, parked, ate dinner in the citadel, then ask our waiter to call the guest house to get directions. The owner came to the restaurant to meet us, to get us parked, carry luggage, and make it so easy in a town where parking is so challenging. The studio apt has a beautiful view, apartment across not so. Both were comfortable, very clean, hot water, refrigerator. Maja and her husband couldn’t have been nicer. This is an A+ place.

Wonderful Hosts and Location

We really enjoyed our stay in the apartment. It was spacious, light and had tiny kitchen (the balcony was converted into a kitchen) The owner's father greeted us and showed us where to park the car. The parking was quite a way from the apartment, and initially it was tricky to find the address, but with the kind help of fellow tourists with GPS we were successful. Maja kindly  offered for us to store our luggage after check out, which is at 10 am, if we wanted to explore some more. It was great value for money. Wi-fi was great.

A great place to stay, close to the old town.

We stayed here for four nights recently. It was a lovely apartment - simple but catered for all our needs with a cute covered balcony. It was very clean and within perfect location to the old town, supermarkets and harbour (a few minutes walk). It is a little hard to find and the owners do not speak any English so checking in and out was a little tricky! Nevertheless we would stay again if we returned to Korcula.

Perfect for a short stay in Korcula

We stayed in a double room. The owner, Maja, was really nice and the location for the guesthouse was really good. Just a few steps away from the closest swimming spot and the old town. The room was basic, but ok. We thought that "patio" which was in the description, would be for the room only but it was in stairs used by all the others as well. So slight disappointment.
