The furnishings are simple but cozy, taste good. The bathroom is new and there are excellent bathroom products available. In the room there is also a boiler, cups and plates. The picture of the booking was a double room, and then I found myself in a tiny single room with a bed. The main light switch is outside the room, and the few shelves would be better cleared rather than with super furniture. The bathroom is shared, very small and with the obligation to enter barefoot. The garden that you cross to reach the rooms is in poor condition. The owner is of a formal kindness, not interested in you and what you are saying. Finally, the air conditioner is missing.

It's a tiny one with no bathroom and no air conditioning.

Great location almost across the road from the bus station in Korcula Town. However also close to restaurants that stay open late and play  their music loud enough for the whole block so be sure to pack your ear plugs.  Very clean and neat room and like having electric jug for making tea and coffee.  However wifi was not working despite many attempts and re-booting his mobile device - unfortunately Josip was not available to fix it nor had he left information about who could.

Good location for bus station

We stayed for one night here in Korcula. Our host Danijel was very attentive met us at the port. The villa is a 2 minute walk from the ferry which we were very glad of after the steps of dubrovnik! We stayed in the double room and there is a single next door and you share a nice bathroom in between. There was tea and coffee facilities, good wifi. No air con, but an oscillating fan made sleeping ok. There is a bit of noise from the bar just below the villa, they play pop music till quite late. It didn't bother us and you couldn't hear it if you closed the windows but just thought I'd let you know. All in all a lovely clean place, a friendly host and a fantastic location.

I stayed at guesthouse Colenda in July 2014 after booking a single room the day before through booking.com. Josip and his friends were a huge part of making my experience of Korcula magical. They invited me to a traditional sword fight on my first night, where the participants used real swords in a well choreographed sword-fight. 

The room was perfect for one person, clean and had really nice touches like mosquito repellant and soap and shampoo from Italy. The guesthouse is also in a perfect location in the old city. 

When I had to check-out, I left my luggage with Josip and after swimming in the sea and being in the sun, Josip let me use his personal shower so I could be clean for my bus journey. His friend then demonstrated why their 4 Maine coon cats win competitions. 

Overall, an unforgettable experience. I did not  take pictures of the room but the photos I uploaded represent the magic of Marco Polo's island and this guesthouse. Stay here if you can.

Stayed there on July 17 and 18.  Josip was very kind and helpful.  He even went to pier to pick me up.  And catered for all my requests during my stay.  Good location of the guest house.  Everything is nearby.  I stayed in a single room.  Lovely, basic and clean.  Definitely will recommend to my friends.
