Excellent position with a beach where there is a lot of natural shade. The place is perfect for fans of windsurfing and kite surfing. Although there is wind, it is not a problem for swimming.
Mobile homes are spacious and clean (stayed in a 32 m2 house) and equipped with everything you need.
The staff is polite and always ready to help.
Warm recommendation.

Camp Perna, Peljesac - Croatia

Relax camping in green surroundings. Plenty of trees and shade. Staff very friendly and helpfull. Excellent area for watersports; kite surf, wind surf, sailing. Good restaurants in the vicinity. Plenty of taxi boats to the other side.

Relax camping in green surroundings

People that come here need to bear in mind this is almost like a windsurf camp but on a higher scale so it's like really nice glamping.
You rent a charming little house, most likely not one in the photos but you can book directly with the property for premium houses- after staying there a few times run of the house I asked how do I book one of these and got an answer and made it happen.
It was worth every penny. Kids swimming, husband windsurfing and me on our terrace with my wine just feet away from
The sea. 
First of all keep in mind Perna and Viganj are windsurfing places so if you want to have a nice little holiday and stay away from crazy surfers :) go to Orebic, it has lovely options.
But this place has a charm that is lost everywhere nowadays and though from 4 of us only 1 surfer we still love to come here for a few days a couple of times per year.
Service is absolutely fantastic- from housekeepers who never fail yo say good morning no matter where they go to clean, to very efficient engineering service and host staff that introduces you to the house.

The restaurant could do with a bit of facelifting in looks and menu but hey in a place like this you don't expect fine dining.

All in all you can have a great holiday here but do prepare where you're coming to so your expectations are not unrealistic, it will make a huge difference :)

Great windsurf holiday (with kids!)

We was there at the beggining of June, when was camp more empty. We reserve directly and choose first row mobile home. It was nice, beacuse it was not so crowded. In July, when all homes are full I think is too much crowd on the beach. We went windsurfing, but condition was not ok (to less wind). Restaurant and bar we couldnt try, beacuse it was still closed. We choose bigger home, which is enough for 4 person (for 6 adult person is little small). Fridge is big, but for cooking for 4 person is equipment a little smal. We had with us pizza-pan and we cook most of it on it outside the house.

Nice quiet vacation in beginning of June

Looks better on pages then in reality (worn out). We have booked superior mobile home (lot of space!). Not enough shade (not very good position, booked rather late) - without air condition it would be impossible to be in mobile home.
WiFi is not working (maybe in some parts of camp). Selection of TV channels is limited with "locked" premium channels (!?). Cleanliness is OK. Not enough toilet paper, no kitchen towels, no tablecloth, no mats for chairs (all this should be nice to have).
Microwave would be nice.
On a rainy day, terrace was flooded because groove connection to the roof was not ok, and groove was full of mechanical dirt (i had to clean myself to minimize flooding). Broken terrace steps.
When asked for the curtains on the terrace for sun protection, it took 2 days to get some (they said it was not the standard equipment!).
Beaches were ok, water is clean and fresh, afternoons were usually windy. Position of the camp is far from town for pedestrians. Quality shopping is rather far away (only with car). Small shops near camp are theft.

NOT WORTH the premium price charged for stay!

During our stay we were in the mobile house A21, located directly in the beach front line. Benefits and hurdles:

+ views from the front line mobile homes
+ tidy and semi-modern interior of the mobile houses
+ price and quality ratio in off season
+ house A21 offers shadow 24/7 and great views to korcula
+ transfer to korcula from the camp
+ very friendly staff
- no laundry washing in the camp
- no garbage recycling
- plastic on the beach
- pets are allowed, wear shoes in case you step on dogs maneuver
- no pavement on the main street = no long walks
- surrounding facilities(e.g. hotel komodor, some of the not-renovated paths in the camp, old facilities, etc.) are dangerous for the children
- kitchen is poorely equipped (no oven, no dishwasher, only plastic cutting board, etc.)

Fine for a week

After long drive we came to Camping Perna. Not the first time, but definitely the last. When we stepped into the mobile home, it was stinky (as a rotten meat), dirty floor (some stinky liquid hasn't been cleaned), lots of dead aunts not cleaned in the kitchen. When we opened the toilet doors, it was like someone didn't flush the water. Last but not least, there was a strange smell outside the mobile house and the we found out cats are staying below our mobile house with some food and dirty towels (you are washing with it of course) and doing normal things every animal do...pee and poo (pics attached). Later this day, we found out fridge is not working. Staff wasn't able to change the mobile house (though few were still available), nor fixed the problems, only postponing it. NOT RECOMMEND!

Disaster

We stayed at a mobile house A34 for 14 days.
Mobile houses are very small - you can hardly move in a bedroom. Even worse, they are poorly maintained. Bathroom especially. Shower has mold, pluming is bad, there are occasional smells.
Also, wifi internet access is so bad, that I wouldn't call it access at all. 
Nature around camp is great, especially if you are looking for kite surfing and hiking. But, camp beach is not safe for children, since there are many high speed surfers near the coast and camp beach.

Great nature, poor mobile house

off season
Even in off season you can keep a place clean and tidy. This one is not. On every corner you can find debris of other guests who already left the place. Warm water in the showers in the morning? Not really (a drop maybe). The noise of the dissasembly of the surf camp is extremly annoying. The prices are high! We've never paid so much for an autocamp in Croatia with such a low quality. Only positive aspect is the stony beach with clear water.

Very expensive

Taking into consideration that the mobile container is a small place, the combination of the rooms in the section C is bad and you have a problem with reaching the bed. The first neighbours are also very near but this we could have accepted. The thing we could not accept was the fact that the house was extremely dirty, literally from the top to the bottom + dishes, glases,cutlery. The walls were never ever wiped with a wet cloth. Bathroom, furniture, everything had stains on it, the floor we could not wash properly even after three tries. And the thing is you have to pay 35 eur extra for the cleaning. In the end we decided to leave and find another clean accomodation.
We are extremely dissapointed and would never ever go back.
