the pension is tranforme little by little in condominium of which our Studio Donovan (our flat's new name) is perfect for quit holidays in this small paradise. Apartments will remain available for vacationers including this nice studio which has a large private terrace, a nice bathroom, a kitchenette, a garage for the car, everything modern and confortable, air conditioned (dual air conditioning) and clean. The maintenance is always assured as the warm welcome. Additional services are gradually being offered by the new owner Voila. It was our third stay here and not the last one ! Experience to renew without moderation.

the pension changes this year but keeps its advantages

Rather by accident we arrived at Konoba Bebic, did not stay at the hotel.
The food was very good, excellent quality and a very but really very nice service. The lady gave a lot of valuable information ao on using seasonal products and products from the island. Really very much OK.

Nice surprise

First of all I would like to thank the family for fantastic days I spent in Pansion Bebic! Everything was perfect!  Thank for your hospitality! 
I recommend this pension for its location – quiet place surrounded by pine trees, rocky beach with crystal clear water is just 1-2 minute walk (as for me, I tried some sandy beaches in Lumbarda, but concluded this rocky was the best one). Breathtaking views from the balcony and restaurant. Home-made food with wide choice of dishes for dinner (you can order everything in advance).  Clean, comfortable. You can get any information about Korcula at reception. Bus stop is just 10 min. walk, center of Lumbarda – 15 min.  Ideal place for vacation!

How lovely was this

Our taxi stopped in the road in front of the hotel , within in seconds of our host seeing this, demanded the taxi driver immediately stop unpacking our bags, drives us up into the drive way and off load us at reception 

This was politely followed by a warm welcome with drinks and food by our host, her husband and son.

Short introduction to the island and activities, places of interest, best places in town.

Then each room was introduced to its occupants (we had booked 3) 

There are different sizes available depending on needs.

Loved our stay 

The best welcome of all time

We stayed in a small room with a lovely view on a room only  basis. It is a lovely spot across the bay about a mile from the restaurant Torkul round the other side of the bay. Captain and Mrs Bebic  are hilarious and very welcoming (a Croatian Fawlty towers - real characters  ) and daughter Maruska  and husband who runs the restaurant cooked us an amazing meal with which we had the best salad we have had in Croatia. We also had a fish platter which was lovely with home made Rosemary bread . 

Captain Bebic took us on a boat trip to Vernik which was stunning and the food of grilled meats from the restaurant were absolutely fantastic.

Lumbarda is paradise - a very middle class Volvo Audi professional type place and  its charm is enhanced by the lovely families who choose to stay in the area .

As an aside the accapella music in the area is amazing and we saw a few groups of performers .

We walked to Korcula town  twice on breezier cooler days ,  equally amazing but more populous  with the best coffee in a nondescript large cafe at the crossroads just on the outskirts of the town (julius meine distributors).

Only one criticism is there is some machinery which clanks and churns during the night , which means that you tend to keep windows closed and rely on air con. 

Lumbarda is a real treat for any one visiting .

The sea is full of little fish🙂 ( and sea urchins 😞)

A lovely time 

We stumbled upon this hotel / pension, when we'd left it a little late one evening, and almost chose the 1st hotel we found - we were not disappointed. The host and hostess were incredibly welcoming, and shared ham and schnapps with us while our room was readied. The location and views from the terrace are stunning; we only stayed one night, but were well looked after. The food in the restaurant was excellent, though our waiter was a little OCD - insisting on repositioning our glasses whenever we'd moved them. We actually found that quite entertaining and added to the whole positive experience of the place.
