We were in Croatia for the first time and very happy to have started our holiday here in Makarska. From the first to the last minute we felt comfortable. The accommodation is perfect, everything is clean and modern, the host Pero and his family are just super lovely and you feel at home right away. The location of the apartment is also great, the great promenade, the beach and the harbour are very well reached on foot. All in one we would have a wonderful time here, thanks to Pero and his wife, the great restaurants and the friendly people. Makarska is super lovely and we will definitely come back, of course, preferably back to Villa Nena.

First holiday in Croatia!!!

Perfect apartment with everything you might need and more - lovely hosts and just a couple of meters to the beach and beachwalk - highly recommended - a lot of value for money- ask the host to reserve a table at restaurant Panorama - incredible view and excellent food

Wonderful vacation in a lovely accomodation

We stayed here for 5 nights October 2018. It was perfect. When we arrived we were greeted by Pedro the owner, we rented a car so arrived earlier than expected, Pedro said was not a problem and said we could "check in" and go to apartment. He showed us where we could park(on the property for free), then took us up. We stayed in Aphrodite appartment, number 2, lovely, very modern, everything you need and more because you would not get so much in a hotel. The apartment has a double bed, I mention this because our friends stayed in a hotel 2 minutes walk from us, paid a lot of money for a 4 star hotel and the beds were joined together singles, most hotel in Croatia seemed to be like this(my friend reviewed a lot of hotels), so when when she asked do you have a double bed in apartment, she was a bit jelous when I said yes. Nena appartments are fantastic, ckean, modern, view, and you can come and go as you please. You also get complimentary traditional liqueur, at least 6 shots worth(we did not have all so making an assumption), nice touch. Value for money, cannot recommend enough, better than a hotel and cheaper. 

Home away from home

Great location, exceptional 2 bedroom apartment on first floor. Our host Pero and his beautiful family gave a warm welcome and met us at the petrol station when we got lost😊.  Private parking on the property too. The apartment is very high spec and home from home. As someone with high standards -this place is 5* all the way. 10 min walk to marina area and old town. 5 mins to bars, many restaurants and the gorgeous beach.
Would love to come back - or just move in! Thank you Pero for an amazing stay .

Stunning!!

These apartments are wonderful. They are finished to a very high standard and the owners, rightly so, are very proud of them. They come fully equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, amazing hob and oven and if you need your caffeine fix, a coffee percolator! We only stayed here 3 nights so we didn't need to use the kitchen gadgets as we ate out. There is an abundance of restaurants right on the beach front within a 3 minute walk.
 We were coming over from the island of Brac by ferry and received a text from the owner Pero to see how close we were to arrival in Makarska. He offered to meet us off the ferry which was fab as dragging our case to Villa Nena would have been a bit of a treck his car was a bonus! Also when leaving for the bus station Pero offered to take us in his car ..... So kind and helpful.
 Thank you Pero for a wonderful stay in your beautiful apartments and meeting your lovely family. Hopefully we will see you again very soon.

We rented a 2 bedroom apartment here in Bol and found it to be well equipped and convenient, the price was very reasonable and the taff friendly and welcoming. The apartment was spacious and meticulously clean.

This place will Bol you over

We had the biggest apartments in the villa in August 2014. We had the biggest apartments in the villa, because we were 5 people. These apartments have absolutely everything, because in winter the owners live there. Good repair and soundproofing, dishwasher and everything needed in the kitchen. Free parking, which was also very important. The location of the villa is normal, from everything close, but right in front of the house is a huge hotel, with all the consequences - crowds on the beach, the sounds of animation and the view of the hotel instead of the sea. The owners were quite friendly, but the answer didn't flood. However, when we asked to recommend us a very good restaurant and beach, which was in all the good restaurants, but the beaches were very lively, the people needed to stay right in front of the house.

Okay, but only once.

Apartments No1 (household, lodge and 2 bedrooms) with fresh design repair, comfortable, but one of the bedrooms seems to be unfinished (bed, closet, 2 cupboards), there's not even a cupboard. All that's needed is (including tea-coffee, sugar-salt), a gas plate, a lounge and a dishwasher. Apartments No2 and No3 are quite modest in the background of apartments No1.

Vacation in Villa Nena, Makarska

It's very modern and comfortable apartments. Everything is very stylish and comfortable. We booked one-bedroom apartments, but we upgraded the room and moved into two-bedroom apartments. Big! Beautiful! Stylish! Comfortable! Overall super! In the inner courtyard there is a small private but free parking lot. The beach is next to it. Next to the grocery store, the exchange, the wine shop on the way to the beach - a lot of fruit. All within two minutes.
