My husband and I just spent two lovely days at Villa Drago. Everyone here is so nice and bent over backwards to make our stay memorable.  Our apartment was clean and simple in the best way.  We enjoyed our balcony on the side of the building with a view of the water and mountains at sunrise. When we arrived Drago met us, showed us around and then we met him downstairs on his terrace to en6joy his homemade wine and the view. Such a great way to begin our stay! Throughout our stay, Drago went above and beyond to help us including taking us and all our stuff to the Marina Agana the morning we were to leave to sail the Dalmatian Coast.  It was great that we could swim in the Adriatic across the road and take a nice 10-15 minute walk to town for a delicious couple of meals.  Villa Drago was perfect for us and we hope that we will return someday to explore the mainland of Croatia from his and his wife's home in Marina.  We cannot thank them enough.

My family and I stayed at Villa Drago for one night while waiting for a sailboat charter. We had two rooms. One with ocean views, and a balcony, and the other without either. The rooms are well equipped with fridges and small kitchens, which came in handy for making dinner on our one night at Villa Drago. The real stars of Villa Drago are the location and the host. The hotel is located directly across from the beach with a large beautiful terrace area for drinks and eating and plenty of parking. As others have commented, the host, Mr. Drago is incredibly friendly, kind, and helpful. he served welcome drinks on the terrace when we arrived. He offered good suggestions for restaurants and shopping. After we checked out, but before we had access to our sailboat, he stored a small quantity of refrigerated items for us for a few hours, and he also offered that we could park our car in his lot for our week on the sailboat (which was helpful but unnecessary as we had parking access at the marina).  We would definitely stay at Villa Drago again if we return to Marina town!

Beautiful view, super shower, close to the beach. Mr. Drago is very kind and helpful. Clean, tidy, well-equipped apartment. We were able to relax very well. There was private car parking. See you soon

We dont Trust all 5 Stars Reviews, but it is true. Drago has an perfect red wine and his wife creates fresh sea Fish and with salads from the garden. 
Drago is quiet friendly and supportive. The Double Rooms are simple And clean

You cant believe it

I stayed at Villa Drago with my family for 6 days and we had a wonderful time. Our apartment was very well equiped and we had everything we needed. I have to mention our wonderful host, mr. Drago. He is such a positive person, he welcomed us with some cold drinks and was available for everything we needed at any time. Beautiful beach is just across the street and my kids really enjoyed it. I recommed this apartment and would stay there again.

Wonderful family vacation

Drago was one of the loveliest people we have every met. The moment we arrived he greeted us, gave us welcome drinks and snacks, and checked up on us throughout our stay. He also gave us excellent recommendations for the town. The rooms were simple but clean. We enjoyed sitting on our little patio in the afternoon with a drink enjoying the view. Drago is incredibly proud and passionate of Villa Drago. Do yourself a favour and stop here for a night or two on your travels, you won't regret it!

The kindest host ever! Great value for money and excellent location.

We drove through all Croatia and stayed 2-3 nights in each places. Villa Drago is the only one really worth mentioned, because "just ok" is not enough in that case.
Regard: 
- nice and well equipped room, 
- the beach is just across the street so it takes 1 minute to go there, 
- best location in small, charming town, where you can get everything needed,
- clean bay with noticeably warm water
and the most important - THE HOST!!! - amazing people!!!

They are the reason why I wish to come back there again.
Mr Host is extremely attentive, helpful and charging everybody with positive energy.
Mrs Host - we haven't seen her, but felt her work with love - the best meals and excellent last dinner in Croatia.

The best place in Croatia!!!

Stayed here for two nights at the end of our vacation. Mister Drago and his wife are representatives of lost kind of great hosts that go for an extra lenght so you feel welcome in their home. They try their best all the time, so the guests forget their problems left at home. Ask for the dinner, don't waste your time searching for restaurants, it is amazing. I am sure you will leave with some of Dragos many wisdoms as a farewell gift!
