NIce studio apartment with sea-view very close to the sea. Apartment is small but well equipped, small kitchen, air-condition, free parking, wi-fi. Very close to Korcula ferry terminal and all other attractions.

Great value for the money

The room and the toilet are bit too small, but everything is very clean. Big terrace, quiet neighborhood, very beautiful beach only 5 min walking, and 7 min from the center. Excellent and super fast wi-fi. Overall, for the price we paid, I think we've had great experience.
Also, worth of mentioning, great location, the city of Orebic has daily connections with boat and ferry with the beautiful Korcula island.

Great place for a good price

We booked room with the view for the street about 1-2 months before the trip. 

When we arrived we met the owner of the hotel and he just gave us the key. We were a little bit disappointed, because one year before we were in Gradać, and the owners offered us shot of Rakija for welcoming and now... just say "hello" and "take the keys". We went to the room and the difference between photos and reality was noticeable. The first feeling was that we removed to communistic times, but the worst thing was dirt. A lot dust under the bed and dirty walls.

So bad was the bathroom and after arrival I knew why there was no any photos. So small and old-fashioned.

Air conditioner was OK, generally everything works, but we talked with our neighbours from the room near to us and after coming they discovered that they have got problems with the pipe from the sink. They told us they were trying to talk with the owner, but he was uninterested the problem. Just after call to booking page they amended the failure.

We were there all week and I was so disappointed that no-one clean the room during that time. In the room was only one toiler paper and I had to ask the owner for another one. No-one ask us if we need to refresh the room or change the beddings.

The positive aspect was only the localisation. But the main photo from TRIPADVISOR falsely shows that the house is near the beach. Anyway we were satisfied, the distance between beach and our hotel was short. What's more you can't park the car near hotel, because there's market area and you have to park about 100m further in the small beacon.

Generally, I expected more. And I was disappointed that I didn't see bathroom's photo before. The hotel should show people more genuine and objective photos of the rooms. Anyway I would like to thank for being there, I would reccomend the hotel to my friends, but... I will show them some photos before the booking.

Mixed feelings...

Part two of our Orebic saga...
Having found some free Wi - Fi we decided after the Bell Vue fiasco (please see our other reviews) that we would opt for a budget apartment. Just €24 for three of us.
There are many apartments to rent here and they appear more popular than the UK B&b culture.
We drove up and down the road about 20 times trying to find the place. Eventually we found a local who gave us Croatian directions...
Think like a local and not like traveled Brit and you will be fine. We forgot and managed another five passes of the main street. Another local told us to look out for a big house on the right, more low level passes and still no apartment. Fed up and worn out we pulled into the supermarket to ask one last time. The checkout lady knew the owner and called them for us. After greetings we were taken up a flight of stairs to a nice roof terace above the SUPERMARKET and show our room!!!!!
Directions perhaps dear locals could be err, it's above the supermarket, duh.
The room had a sea view balcony, was clean and tidy. Decor a bit UK 1970 but otherwise fine. Memory foam mattress completed the deal. The owner then appeared with a complimentary bottle of wine - happy days.
A great place for a transit stop over, and easy to find if you know where to look.

We have stayed 3 nights here and I have to say this is our second time in Orebic, but we still didn't find a good accomodation. Our room was nice, with a very comfortable bed, we had a table and 2 chairs and a sofa. The design was modern and nice. The room was clean but the sofa was very dusty. The bathroom was really bad. It was the design from the 70s and the toilet was smelling bad. It didn't flush properly as well. There was a miniature kitchen well equiped. We had a very small balcony, it was too small to sit outside at all. The apartment is near the beach, but you have to go down on a very busy road with no pavement. The owners were very nice and helpful. So overall it was ok, but we will not come back.
