This review will review the food that's presented by a Restaurant called Strossmayer, firstly; never in my life was I disappointed by a pizza till I ate here, you'll pay 40 kunas for a pizza that you can pay 35 kunas at any other pizzeria, the dough is overwhelmed with mushrooms that are still very raw making the pizza bad due to mushroom's aromas, smell and taste. I personally do not recommend this place as you will overpay for your food and drinks, and if you decide to carry your food home, you will also get charged for that 6 kunas per person, as someone who finished culinary school I truly dont recommend this place not out of business stand point yet out of personal disappointed in the food quality and price difference between Pizzeria Strossmayer and other greater restaurants.

Food wise - terrible.

Prety charming and elegant pansion with great restaurant and good food. Interior and rooms are very nice and I pleasant.  Free wi-fi internet is also a plus. 
Tram station is close to pansion, car parking too.

Charming pension

Small, very charming pension, 10 minuets from centar- walking. The rooms are modern, comfortable and fully equipped. Prices at the pension are affordable. The staff is very friendly. If you choose this guesthouse for your vacation you definitely will not make a mistake.

Great! 

We were a little confused at first, about where to enter and where to park. The receptionist is actually in the restaurant. The parking lot is across the street. The hotel rooms are upstairs and in the back. 

She wanted to give us a room upstairs. That would have been challenging to haul our big suitcases up a steep, winding staircase. Then she agreed to give us a room in back on the first floor. We were early and the room was not cleaned yet, but they hustled and cleaned it right away for us. The room was pleasantly nice with plenty of room. Breakfast was basic but good.

We felt very safe. It was a short walk, several blocks to a pedestrian area with lots of food and shopping.

We ended up at this pension looking for a night to stay in Orijeka. Acommodation conditions are extremely good with modern and weel equiped rooms.
Food was great at their restaurant and the personal is very helpfull and they speak good English.
Room was a bit noisy during the night but overall it was a good experience.

Pleasant experience

Otherwise, an excellent weekend in Osijek was spoiled for staying in this facility. After a lot of travel and stay in any of the facilities, I can only say - bypass in the wide harbor. Upon arrival at the facility on Saturday afternoon, we asked when breakfast is, since we have to leave already at 7 am the next day. The answer was that breakfast is at 7:30. I have never been to a place where breakfast begins so late. We asked if there was any chance we could get something at the 7 am before departure and the answer was brief and clear - no. After a short stay in the room and going out I asked if we could get some sandwich for the trip or at least something, the answer was short and clear - no. The reason was that it would be dry by morning. We said it was ok, and the answer was – there is a bakery right behind the corner which opens at 7. There I am, rather upset with a customer relationship that never I experienced before, and I asked if we have breakfast included in the price - I received the answer that we pay a lower discounted price. I guess it meant we did not have the right to breakfast or if we wanted breakfast, we had to leave when hotel decided, Of course, we did not get any sandwiches, or anything like that, and the unpleasant guy at reception solved his problem. After that comes accommodation. Of course, the climate does not work if the card is not inserted and at 23:30, we enter the sauna. Opening the window means tremendous noise from the outside of a drive. The air conditioner is set up to hit your head exactly when you lie down in bed so it cannot work while you are sleeping. In addition - on the wall of the room is leaning the chimney of the pizzeria and it heating all night - of course with the closed window and the shuttered climate, because the other is unworkable. In the morning, we get out into the hallway and only then we realize how pleasant it is, and so hot in this room. We have only one comment on the staff and accommodation - catastrophe and avoid it, especially that in Osijek there are very nice accommodation, and people are extremely friendly and hospitable. Unfortunately, there are some exceptions, we did not have luck.
