The B&B is being run by two sweet sisters. It lies near entrance 3. Just a 15-20 min walk. You can see a few places of the plitvice lakes outside the park with some beautiful views! 

Nena makes her own food and has a biological kitchen garden. I can recommend the vegetarian risotto but also the trout! 
They are very friendly and we felt like we were home. 
I would definitely recommend this place to go to see the plitvice lakes. 

Feels like home

We spent two nights at Villa Nena and would highly recommend it. Nena is a wonderful host and it's good value for money. She cooked us delicious meals both nights and breakfasts were very good. A short walk leads to glorious viewing platforms over the park and steps down to the lakes - a bit arduous coming back up but easily managed. There are also walks up through forests and high meadows so it's a good base for walking.

An ideal base for exploring Plitvice Lakes

We stayed for two nights with Nena to visit the Plitvice National Park. The location of the accommodation is perfect, you just need to walk a couple of minutes and you are inside the park. It is advantageous to buy the tickets before entering the park but not necessary, since the entrance is also just a short 10 minutes walk through the park from the big waterfall. Nena offers breakfast and dinner on request, which was excellent and exceeded our expectations by a lot. It was the best trout that we have ever eaten. There is also excellent internet in the accommodation, also suitable of streaming videos or movies. We would definitely recommend this housing as Nena and her family warmly welcomed us and treated us very nice.

Perfect starting point for visiting Plitvice Lakes with a perfect host.

Myself and My partner stayed here on the 20th & 21st September to see plitvice national park and to celebrate my 21st birthday. I have to say that this has been the best villa 'home stay' I have ever stayed in. Nena herself was so helpful and lovely. The room was really nice and her house is really nice. Nena's cooking was phenomenal. She cooked us some local dishes and it was all so delicious. She joined in, had a laugh with us, gave us some local Liker and wine and I just cant rave enough how amazing Nena and her home is. We will be back and we hope everyone else has a fantastic experience staying with Nena. Best birthday I have ever had! 

Amazing stay, amazing host

Very very friendly ambiance. The location is perfect to visit the park, imposible to be better located. 
The rooms are small but enough good to rest. 
Can be better clean but it was ok. 
The owner cook for us some homemade food, it was very kind and for regular price. 

Visiting the Plitvice Park

Stayed in Villa nena for 3 nights, the hosts were very welcoming and friendly. The villa is in a perfect location and provides access to the lakes within 5min walking down a footpath. The villa is also on a hiking path which is beautiful. The rooms themselves are homely and very functional.
