Great place to stay lovely rooms and lovely views lots of restaurants and bars lovely food near the sea for a swimming staff are lovely very comfortable beds air conditioning we be back its lovely place to relax

Lovely place to stay

I revisited villa Andro after ten years and it was just as I remembered! Beautiful location, warm welcome from Andro, super clean apartment and just perfect in every respect. You won’t find a better place to stay in cavtat and I have yet again fallen in love with the place. So much so that I have booked again for next year! Definitely not leaving it as long this time! Thank you Andro to you and your wife for your genuine Croatian hospitality and look forward to seeing you again next year! Thanks Helen

Wish I hadn’t left it so long to return!

Fabulous apartment close to the village and leading directly to the quay and beaches. It has a lovely garden and terrace with spectacular views over the sea and village. The host Andro is lovely and offers useful advise and is always keen to help. We can’t wait to go back.

Fabulous apartment

Villa Andro was a little slice of heaven! We had the whole top floor apartment, 2/3 of the bedrooms have the picturesque harbor view, just breath taking. If going, I would request the top floor, the view is worth it (Although the first floor apartment has a balcony I think the view wins for me!) 

Had everything we needed & more for self catering and Andro makes sure if we needed anything extra, which we didn’t, we just had to ask. He’s also on hand to help out with taxis, buses, boats, where to eat etc!
Guests can use the roof top and garden for outdoor breakfasts and lunches if eating in, which is all amazingly decorated!

The apartment is situated right down on the harbor - on the flat!! - so just steps away from all the restaurants, bars, super markets, bus stops, boats! Perfect location!(Most people we talked to had to take taxis back to their apartments because the way back for them was too steep!)  you’re also just meters away from the steps down to the swimming area of the harbor where the water is crystal clear.

Will most definitely visit Croatia again and most definitely only choose to stay here. Comfortable, clean, friendly and location is just perfect! Thanks for having us! See you next year!

Little slice of heaven!

This was our seventh visit to Cavtat and Villa Andro. Unfortunately we could not visit last year due to the Covid19-restrictions, but this year - fully vaccinated - we could finally return. As soon as the taxi dropped us off by the city gates and we took in the sounds and smells of Cavtat my 82 year old father exclaimed "This is really like coming home". We could only agree. Especially after being welcomed as old family members by Andruschco and Tanja in their warm and heartfelt way, with kumquat liqueur in the garden.

Staying at Villa Andro is the best form of vacation for us. The location close to all restaurants, cafés and the wonderful Adriatic Sea is unbeatable. In combination with the warm hospitality from the Popovic family we are able to relax from day one. As I have written before, this is not a luxury hotel. This is more genuine - like staying at a good friend's house. 

We stayed in the first floor apartment  and some refurbishment has been done since we last visited in 2019. There are still three bedrooms, but one of them is now furnished as a living room with a large sofa bed which can easily sleep two people when folded down. The other two bedrooms have double beds. There are now also TV's in two of the rooms, although we never tested them. ( I have never felt the need to watch TV in Cavtat... ;-) ). Wi-fi and AC worked well.

Like coming home...

We spent two nights at Villa Andro and thoroughly enjoyed it. We had two clan and spacious rooms, both with views to the sea and with a charming garden. A very friendly and knowledgeable owner. We strongly recommend it and would love to come again.

Nice rooms by the sea

This is a great apartment in an excellent location, on the seafront and 100 yards from the Cavtat bus stop. Andrusko is a delightful and very friendly host. He is very welcoming and offers great suggestions e.g. for local restaurants. He is very interested in his guests, speaks 4 languages and is very hospitable. The apartment was clean and spacious and we had a balcony with a sea view. Cavtat has very good water ferry taxis to Dubrovnik and islands e.g. Lokrum. Highly recommended.

Great location and great host.

lovely views from apartment, lovely surrounding gardens with lots of shade and seating. areas, Good location for all local amenities. Our host Andruhsko was very helpful. No TV in our apartment, but apart from that - well equipped.

CAVTAT

Well, if there's one place we call a home away from home it's Villa Andro. This was our sixth visit, and we have counted the days since we booked this winter. We couldn't have felt more welcomed when we arrived to Andrushco's traditional drinks and Tanja's wonderful moussaka. <3

Cavtat is such a beautiful place, and Villa Andro's location is the best. We stayed in the first floor apartment which contains everything one needs for a vacation week - two bedrooms facing the sea and one facing the back, a kitchen with fridge, freezer, dishwasher and laundry machine etc and two bathrooms. Andrushco with family is very easygoing and quick to help, since they live just below. Keep in mind this is a vacation apartment, which suits us perfectly, since it feels more like staying in one's own home. Expectationwise it is not to be compared with a five star luxury hotel with 24 hour room service. Villa Andro is more personal and cozy.

We truly feel at home here, and we hope to be coming back many times more. Thanks a million!
