Had a one night stay here to go explore the national park. The home is located fairly close to the park and is close to both entrances. Its just a couple of miles away by car so it is a convenient location to be based at. It was easy to find the place even late at night and the location is marked in Google maps and is accurate. There is parking available for a few cars so I cant imagine it will ever be an issue for parking.

Check in was very quick and friendly. The rooms themselves are at the back of the house. Plenty of steps so account for that with luggage. The rooms are decent sized (we booked 2). One had a balcony and a bathroom the size of the main room. The other had a normal sized bathroom and no balcony. We had asked for a crib before hand and they had that ready to go. 

Wifi worked fine in the room. There were plug points available. There is a radiator heater in the room but no ac. It was warm while there but we just opened the windows and it was fine. Morning the shower had warmish water but it was fine to get moving. There is no breakfast available here but about a mile away as soon as you get on the main road there is a bakery and next to it a bar that serves coffee in the morning. The bakery is pretty good and churns out fresh stuff at cheap prices. 

The location is convenient. The prices were excellent. The views are nice as its in the country side and you can see deers etc in the morning. Would definitely stay here again if I was back.

Excellent to explore Plitvice park

Beautiful rooms, immersed in nature, you sleep well! It's exciting to see the deer in the morning and feed them! It's a huge room and great comfort, a price irresistible compared to Italy!

It's beautiful.

The place is very quiet. with deer next to it. the room is very nice and the bathroom is very large. the owner, very nice. it had parking spaces without problems and is a good option to be able to get there quickly and be able to park, which is then impossible. it is 15 minutes away by car.

Very pleasant.

The host guy was really nice,first we arrived he show us around, there were deers living just next to the house, and ponies. There was a balcony which has a beautiful view, the room was clean, tidy, really good. It is an ideal place to stay 1-3 nights if you visit places around here. Totally satisfied with everything. 

Absolutely satisfied

I needed to a place to stay nearby Plitvice Park and found a great deal with Rooms Mirabella. Joseph and Mirabella were very hospitable and kind. Both spoke good English and Joseph even took me to the nearest cafe without hesitation!

I arrived from Zagreb and got off at the Rakovica stop. I used my Iphone map and it led me to the wrong place. See my picture if you plan on using your map on Iphone to get the correct spot. It is between to small villages and it is an easy 10 minute walk from either one. Both villages of Rakovica and Grabovac offer bus service to Plitvice as well so take your pick.

Wifi was reliable and worked the entire stay.

You can also find Deer nearby and I spent lots of time outside playing with the Deer. Very fun especially if you have children!

There isn't much to do besides seeing Plitvice Park in the area. WIth that said, stock up on food and drinks before the limited number of stores close at night. Having a car also helps big time in the area (Which i did not have).

Room I stayed at was decent. I had my own bathroom and good enough space to move around inside. One thing I did not like was that there was no air condition. Good thing the night was not too hot. However, by leaving the window open, a few mosquitoes were clever enough to get inside and I had to set up a defensive posture while sleeping by covering up my entire body with my own personal blanket.

Overall, For the price I paid, it was well worth the stay here. The best part was the owners and the dozens of deer nearby! I would have rated it a bit lower if it wasn't for the amazing service of the owners!

Home away from home

We spent 1 night on our way to Plitvicia lakes park. The hosts were very accommodative. The mother doesn't speak English but her son speaks fluent English. The house has several basic rooms, ours was with nice balcony. They have a wild deers' farm as part of their property which might be attractive for families with kids. The house is located 15min from Plitvicia park entrance#1, and 10min from Rastoke where you can find some restaurants and of course see the beautiful little water falls all over the village. While the room rate didn't include breakfast, they did offer us to serve us to the room coffee and pastries in the morning which was great.

Pleasant stay.. big room.. convincing location

I stayed here for three days last summer. The location is excellent, a few minutes' drive from the entrances to Plitvice National Park. The room was very comfortable, clean, spacious and warm. The owner speaks English and is really kind and available both in terms of hospitality (she has offered me tea and cookies several times despite not having breakfast planned) and in terms of tips on how to move and what to visit in the area (by the way: don't miss the village of Rastoke!). The price is more than honest.

A wonder.

It's a nice hotel between the mountains.The room is comfortable and has everything you need to spend a night enjoying the lakes.The owner is very friendly and helpful.

A lovely hotel a few steps from the lakes.

We enjoyed the quiet and wild surroundings among the daimys, ponies and goats! You can go there in peace! The Plitvice Lakes are less than 10 minutes away by car. You will find plenty of restaurants and small shops nearby. Very convenient!

Nice & cozy frame

A warm and sincere welcome. The property is quiet and surprisingly comfortable. The rooms are beautiful and spacious. Everything is there to have a good time. I highly recommend this address.
