Not for those with mobility issues as there wasn't a lift. Very centrally located in the Old Town. Our room was on the first floor - steep, narrow stairs so travel light. Wasn't too noisy. Had expected a bar fridge as property was described as having a mini-bar - not so. Staff accommodated  however (I needed to keep medications chilled), so no problem - just not as described. Room was spacious, vey clean, good storage options, comfortable bed. Restaurant downstairs served breakfast (accommodated GF) and other meals. Easy check-in / out. Would recommend. Be prepared to walk (we parked about 1km away) with your luggage as it's in a pedestrian area.

Excellent location

My wife and I stayed 2 nights, arriving from the bus station at 1 PM. We walked 160 m on the pedestrian street to the narrow alley of this hotel/restaurant. The busy owner copied our passports, then escorted us to the exterior entrance where we climbed 3 sets of stairs to the top floor. 
Room #4 was small with a wood floor, firm queen, 2 chairs and small table, small closet, wall TV with a guide(Bloomberg/CGTV/SKY), 2 skylights, 2 small opening windows to the street and a fully outfitted bathroom with a small shower and opening window. 
Our booking said the room included a refrigerator and hot pot but both were removed for Covid rules, so a thermos of hot water and mugs were provided.
The 8:30 AM breakfast was prepared by the owner with OJ, fruits, egg, meats, cheese, tomato, bread, coffee and a delicious chocolate croissant. We also had lunch in their fine restaurant with mushroom soup, warm house bread and tagliatelle with shrimp/prawns, all excellent.
This renovated 4 room hotel was 70 m from the harbor, warm, quiet with good secure WIFI and made a good choice for seeing this port city.

Cozy stay in town with friendly owner/staff.

i stayed here 4 nights with my family with rooms right next to each other in room 3 and 4. we slept well, the rooms are clean and cosy. the staff were very friendly and helpful during check-in and our stay. Breakfast was delicious and served in the restaurant below, separately served due to covid. would also recommend the restaurant for dinner!

Delicious breakfast and clean rooms!

I really liked the décor in the rooms and around the residence, like the golden mirror in the bathroom and the interesting items found in the hallway. It really gives you a feeling of authenticity, without going over the top. Everything was perfectly clean, and I felt completely comfortable during these special times. The staff also made sure to keep distance and were always wearing a mask. The location does not get much better either, so I would definitely recommend anyone visiting Rovinj to try and get a room here.

Lovely decor & super rooms

We really enjoyed our stay at Residence Dream. The room was spacious and the bed and linen were comfortable. Easy check-in and the location is excellent: in the centre and only a few minutes to the beach. Also solid breakfast provided with cheeses cured meats fruits and other local products. We were happy with the cleanliness and maintenance of our rooms and all the staff wore masks and kept their distance.

Great location and love the breakfast

This was my second stay here and I will be back again - simply great value and great location. Spacious room, tasteful decor. Staff as before very kind and attentive. Breakfast is a highlight with a variety of local products served individually.

Second stay, not the last!

Lovely residence with both elegant and authentic style. Located in the very center. Everything clean and staff complying with all safety measures, which was very important for me. It is above a wonderful restaurant in which we had a rich Mediterranean breakfast. We were very satisfied.

Impressed by everything!

This was my 2nd time in this lovely hotel located steps from the harbour.  The room was very spacious and the bathroom was modern and roomy.  They accommodated putting an extra bed at no additional cost.  The owner(s) are very accommodating and helpful.  Highly recommended.

Lovely hotel

We were very pleased with our stay! Quality rooms, friendly staff and good breakfast. The location cannot get better really, and the restaurant below also serves great lunch and dinner (some pics included).

Super!!

When visiting Rovinj, this should be your go-to place. A top location at two steps from the main promenade and easily walkable from the bus station and parking lots. Spacious rooms which are surprisingly quiet, and you can tell a lot of thought went into the decoration. Also super clean. They serve a rich buffet breakfast (local products & even champagne). The restaurant downstairs is superb and deserves a review of its own (plus you get a 20% discount when staying in the residence). Will return & highly recommended.
