This is very nice, comfortable and warm place to stay. As is described in many reviews below, you can safely rely on Jure for solving all your travelling problems and relax with your mind clear and calm. Many thanks for the nice time we spent in Rovinj

Perfect choice

Lovely owner, he was very helpful. We got free bikes to explore the place, but it was possible to rent the ones of higher quality. It was a perfect location for us, close proximity to centrum and the beach. Amazing!

Amazing!

We recently had a very comfortable week in No. 10, a one bedroomed studio apartment on the 2nd / top floor. It was high ceilinged which helped in the heat and had good a/c. It comprised a large living area with sofa bed, table with 4 chairs and good kitchen facilities including a fridge, microwave oven and modern 4 ring hob. Many cooking and dining items - though a pair of scissors would have been useful. 

There was a bowl of fruit, and a bottle each of still and sparkling water in the fridge waiting for us.

The old fashioned shaped TV had a range of channels but none in English. As there was excellent free wifi, we did not find this an issue.

The bedroom had a very large and extremely comfortable double bed, bedside tables and drawers, a good sized wardrobe and dressing shelf and drawer with hairdryer. There was a safe in the wardrobe but it kept defaulting to the master code, so perhaps not too secure, though we had no concerns as to safety. The bedroom also easily took the 4 walking poles and 2 thick beach mattresses (necessary as virtually all Croatian beaches are of stone or concrete), and all of which were free for guests to use. They also provided free beach towels and laundry service.

The bathroom was not very big but perfectly adequate. All hot water took a very long to come, perhaps as on the top floor, but it never ran out. There was liquid soap for the basin but no other toiletries.

There was a small enclosed balcony looking mainly facing E/S, with a table and two chairs. Given the heat, the blind that could be let down at the front of the balcony during the day was a real bonus. It seemed typical of the owners' thoughtful approach to everything.

They also loaned bicycles for free - Rovinj has a big cycling population, but it was too hot for us to use these

We were pleasantly surprised to find that the apartment was serviced every day and toilet rolls replaced. There was liquid soap for the basin but no other toiletries.

There is free parking on the edge of the property or adjoining street.

On arrival, we were greeted warmly by our multilingual hostess, given a town map and told where the local beach, supermarket, shops and local good restaurant, "Maslina", were.

All in all, we were very impressed with our stay, and its reasonable cost, and would certainly want to stay there again if back in Rovinj. 

It is in a residential district with many families offering apartments, some approx. 15 - 20 minutes walk to the edge of the centre, downhill, so more on the way back, especially when hot! Rovinj is a very busy attractive tourist destination but with exploration, it is possible to find somewhere to park within reason. Be aware that there is usually a car parking charge in Croatia, currently usually 5 - 6 kuna an hour.

Excellent and reasonably priced apartment

As with many people, I just booked this as it happened to be the best deal available for my stay. However, it's an absolute gem. A decent walk from the town centre (but once you get your bearings, really not that bad - 20 minute walk) it offers an excellent option for those with young families.

With a host who will offer you real help (an annotated map and tips on local beaches as well as the well known pleasures of Rovinj itself were given to us immediately), you will be offered somewhere that offers rather more intimacy than a chain hotel. If you enjoy looking after your folks and feeling like you actually live here, this is an ideal option. A lovely balcony overlooks the leafy surroundings and offers ideal al fresco dining options, whilst the room itself was very spacious and pleasant. The option of self catering is also on offer and helped with our budget (instead of eating out every night, which drains the holiday funds quickly enough. Zlatni Rt (an alternative and quieter beach) can also be found by a quick walk through the grounds of Hotel Eden nearby.

We intend to visit Istria again - and this place will certainly be somewhere we search for when booking in 2019. An excellent place with a genuine family feel.

A real home from home

It's 11pm it's 23 degrees and I am sat on my balcony drinking an ice cold local beer contemplating our week. 
We came last year and were so impressed with the apartment and host jure that we had no doubts about coming back. 
The apartment this year was a studio ,last year was an apartment both as good with good bathroom kitchen and balcony  . Arrived with fresh fruit and bottled water waiting for us . A nice touch. 
 We had a slight tv problem that despite being a weekend and bank holiday jure went out of his way to fix. 
 There are beach mats and towels available and the use of bikes. There is parking outside and although the town centre is about 20-30 minute walk away there are goid restaurants shops and beach close by. 
We travel around the world visiting many countries trying somewhere different most times but rovinj is a very special place and I wouldn't be surprised if we were back here next year. 
 One tip . Sunset cruise was amazing great  sunset and about 20 dolphins swimming between the to tourist boats  well worth the75kn per person . Best meal was tied between tipico in old town and masalina on main road opposite football stadium.
