Loved Croatia, Trogir was really lovely, great old town and market went mid Sept and the weather was supberb, restaurants offered good value, although most of them seemed to have a similar menu, no chinese or indian take aways or english fish and chips (thank goodness) very friendly people, would highly recommend.

Stayed at Villa Ivanka in Senget Donji, it was good, very clean, most everything you would need, but I think if you shopped around you would find a better deal for your money especially at that time of year, for example better bathroom, bigger balcony and not so near the road, could well be noisy in the height of the summer.

Would highly recommed hiring a car as the scenery is amazing and it is very easy to get about, roads are good and well signposted.

Would like to go back again perhaps to the Dubrovnik area which is apparently amazing.

great holiday

These small holiday flats provide a fantastic  base from which you can explore Trogir and the northern Dalmatian coast.  All seem to have a wonderful view of the sea - ours was spatious, had everything we needed to make meals from the fresh produce stalls at Togir market, and had a lovely varanda right over the sea where we ate all our meals.  We were so pleased to have stayed in the pretty and laid back Seget Donji with its sea-side town atmosphere rather than in the centre of Trogir.  The one down-side is the noise coming from the road at the back.  The windows are double glazed though and you can shut most of it out if you keep the back windows closed.  In the end, we were delighted we had chosen this place as a base.
