We spent one (1) night here during our month long tour of Croatia.  Although the unit was small, it was well appointed, although my tall husband found the bathroom a bit of a challenge.  Our unit was located on the second floor, up a narrow staircase, so pack accordingly.  I have knee issues and found navigating the stirs a bit of a challenge.

The unit is extremely well located to visit most of the major sites of Sibenik.  Although all the sites are located uphill, on the positive side, it is all downhill after a long day of touring.  We even walked up to Fort Barone (about a 20 minute walk) to watch the fabulous sunset.  There is a small café on site where one can purchase drinks.

Near the apartment, you will find numerous restaurants, all situated along the waterfront, also, nearby is a small convenience store that closes at 9pm.
Detailed instructions were provided shortly before our arrival on how to check-in and corresponding with the hosts was easy.  We parked free nearby, about a 10 to 15 minute walk, an address was provided but our GPS had difficulty finding it.  When we arrived, we just unloaded the car and then drove to the free parking area.

The limited sea view can be seen through a small window and although we did not need it, air-conditioning was available. The bed was comfortable and the towels were large and fluffy.

The unit itself is actually smaller than it appears in the pictures so note the size as detailed on the listing.  My husband is quite tall and he had some difficult navigating in the bathroom but overall, the unit was nicely decorated and very comfortable.  Perfectly fine for an evening stay for people with no mobility issues.

The only negative point is that it was impossible to sleep past 7am.  The nearby church provided a wake-up call.  The bells began ringing at 7am and continued for some time.  Also, suggest curtains for the window.


Great Location, Comfortable Stay

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights. Position is perfect right by the quayside and an easy walk into the lovely mediaeval old town. Entry is via a PIN of your own choosing. Kristijan the owner was not present but was always on hand to help with any issue via WhatsApp. Room is thoughtfully and tastefully put together with some nice touches, and offer very good value in what is quite an expensive country for tourists. 5 stars!

Perfect place to stay

From the beginning, everything just was easy and nice with them. This was the cheapest hotel we stayed in (out of 4) and the best one by far! They should charge more money!!  

They arranged it so we could check in early, the room was lovely and clean. Amazing location across from the water. They left really helpfully information in the room about themselves, suggestions on where to eat etc. 

The only weird thing is they had a deal with one of the local restaurants for breakfast so if you say you're saying at City Rooms, you would get a discount. Before we told the server we were staying there, he said the breakfast was X amount (can't remember now) and then we said, oh yeah, we forgot to tell you were are staying at City Rooms - the server said the breakfast was more expensive! It made NO sense. We kept asking him if he was sure and finally we end up leaving because he wanted to charge us more for saying we were at City Rooms, it just felt a bit shady.

I LOVED this place!

Perfect location. Very close to everything but very quiet. This little room is so comfortable, so cute and perfect. Excellent host, very responsive and friendly. The price is reasonable. We love the windows views. We walk from here to cafes, restaurants, plaza, forte, etc great location!! Beautiful room.

Beautiful room great location.

Pros:
- Super romantic room with harbour view 
- Location is great
- Hotel owners are very accommodating, great service and communication
- Bed was comfy
- Very clean
- Cute personal touches
- Pincode door system worked well and was really convenient

Cons:
- Loud church bells in the early morning, but didn't last long so you can just continue sleeping after
- No curtains, we solved that by putting pillows in front of the windows
- No luggage room, but the hotel owners really helped with that
- Parking is a 7 min walk away, but that's almost everywhere in old town. We unloaded the luggage at the hotel before putting the car away, which worked just fine

Overall: would recommend!

Pros and cons

This was one of the best places we stayed, and was sad to only stay one night. Checkin at this smart location was easy, and signage on the nearby room was helpful to find our room location. One in the room (we stayed on the top floor) the bed was comfortable, the bathroom small but efficiently laid out, the wifi was strong. Our small window had a view of the harbor. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood, which had plenty of restaurants to choose from. Although the parking was a bit inconvenient, everything else about this space was great. It's clear the owners take pride in their space, and put thought into making it comfortable for guests.

Wonderful Place in Lovely Area

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at the City Rooms Sibenik. It is such a beautiful location right in the waterfront and very well located both for the beach and for restaurants. The owners have added some lovely personal touches to give it a cosy feel and we could have stayed for longer. As hosts they were very helpful and quick to respond. Would definitely go back!

Gorgeous little spot!

What a wonderful place!  The owners have done an excellent job setting up this property and the waterfront location is absolutely beautiful.  Our room, No. 4 in the attic had all amenities and helpful local information provided.  The bathroom was a bit cramped but that didn't matter because the room and it's view was just so charming.   The owners were excellent communicators and although we did not actually meet them, they kept in contact to ensure our stay was enjoyable.  We would definitely stay there again.

Loved it!

I very much enjoyed my stay at City Rooms. We were introduced to the rooms by a very nice young man and we got to feel the casual Dalmatian atmosphere for a very cheap price which was the entire goal of the trip!

Very enjoyable 

Good Location, perfect accommodation, lovely city. Good parking spot 5 minutes walk from the property, close to the Banj beach. Restaurant next door serving good quality fresh food. Good sea view! Good place to stay for city break.
