VillaLukas, it's cheap and Slano is a paradise! The owner is elderly and uses google translator, but you can understand it. The rooms and the whole house are very clean. The only problem is the room is small and even the bathroom. There is no TV, but there is no lack! a terrace with an unforgettable view, you are in the middle of the olive trees!

Apartment with sublime views

Hello, I spent there one night with my family and after that we had to escape to another place, because of two serious issues. We found out that there was big mould patch in the bathroom corner which was growing to the bedroom. The second issue was the fact that behind the doors which were located next to the bed was another apartment and if we were trying to fall asleep, the guys from that apartment who just came into their room turned on the light and our room was alighted through the window above the doors. We had to ask the owner to provide some sollution and she gave us black plastic bag with duct tape. It partly solved that issue, but the noise from next room was still there. When we finally fell asleep our dougher started coughing due to bad mould smell. We were not able to open the balcony door to get some fresh air because we did not want to have lot of moskitos in our room instead mould smell. That night was our nightmare and in the morning we had to leave that place. The owner did not want to pay for that night luckily, but really funny was her answer that she is a doctor of medicine and she thinks that there is no problem with breathing mole spores for human health.
One more remark regarding Slano. There is not so clean sea in compare of other resorts in that locaion. When I was diving there I saw lot of sea grass on the seabed and the visibility was so poor. I do not understand why sombody has bulit 5 stars luxury hotel there...

If you want to get health issues try to spend one night there

The sheets are small for the wedding bed and don't reach the edge of the mattress. The sink is very small, the mirror is super high, it's for giants and there are no hangers for the towels and in the shower a shelf for the soap. Very little cleaning, there are spiders, centipedes and mosquitoes that enter when you open the door to the terrace, by the way it's the only thing that saves, it's big with a table and 2 chairs and a magnificent view. It needs a remodeling and deep cleaning.

To avoid it

This place was the first place we stayed on a recent tour of the area. It was surprisingly easy to find and was nicely situated right next to the beach. We had a superb view from our room of the blue sea. We needed the help of the owners to get the outdoor barbecue going but they happily obliged. Air con worked very well, but the amount of stairs may put off those less mobile. Very nice fast food place on the other side of the hotel if you are on a budget.

Great views and nice rooms

We had originally booked another establishment but when we arrived the room was not ready and the place didn't please us at all. So in a few clicks we found this apartment that seemed well located. And that is probably the only point on this address! First of all, we have to climb the equivalent of 3 floors under the heat, our apartment being quite upstairs in the villa, under the fillings in fact. The interior and the furniture have seen better days. Access to the balcony is difficult and this one is very narrow. Damage because the point of view is great. But I have a good service, apart from the help I received for a good suitcase, I had the impression that I could not pay a cheque-in-cash (or the check-in-cash) if I could only break the view at night, but I had to intercept the question.

Nice view on the bay and that's it.

We were on the second floor under the roofs. It's a little tricky but thankfully there's a view of Slano Bay and it's not expensive! The garden is well maintained. But we went there last week in September and the hostels didn't have breakfast anymore! Somewhere so much better because they charge 7 euros while in town the bistros offer it for 4 euros.

Bof bof!

We have booked the room and on booking portal property was advertised as a/c , wifi and free parking unfortunately the room was with out ac and was given a small noisy fan. Once disputed the discrepancy with the owners was told that not all room have the ac and was told that for next summer they will install one... Tough luck for us.. Room had no window screen so all wild life was welcomed in .. Mosquitoes were the worst.. As it was too hot we have to have the balcony doors open and it was noisy coz it was over barbecue deck all the grill smell and other guest having late supper was coming in the room . Furniture is old linens older bathroom as well and small ..I wish I can say it was clean .. See the picture no one cleaned the balcony door something was growing on it .. Stay away ..... 

To avoid.. 

The house is nestled in the plantations (olives, lemon trees, bougainvilliers...) facing the sea... The room is very clean... Lunch is plenty with home products every day different B-)(house cakes, house fruit juice, fresh fruit a delight:-) And all this in a super quiet place half an hour from Dubrovnik Brief super stay:-)

Maybe it's a coincidence but our experience here has been bad... I arrive in the evening, we're tired of the long journey and all we want is a shower and a nice bed, we're assigned a room, from booking a comfortable room with air conditioning...since the air conditioner was bigger than the room itself! We're painstakingly arranging the tower luggage in a corner, the air conditioner takes up a lot of the available floor but we're getting together, my husband is trying to open the curtains to write the hygiene pads and... a tent stick takes him straight to the head!!!

It must be...

I stayed there with my family for 2 nights and it was really nice. We had a room on the third floor with a great view of the seaside. The room was really nice and had everything you needed. Breakfast was very good and you could even chose the time when you wanted it. Its located in front of the water and you can even swim right there. During the night it was really quiet there, so you could sleep very good.
