Simply the best Dalmatian food produced by an amazing cook, served in the couple's beautiful open-air restaurant with stunning views. Meat cooked in the traditional Dalmatian way under the bell (see photos) is  delicious, but remember to order in advance as it takes several hours to cook.  Home grown vegetables are usually harvested daily, and meals served with home-produced wine from their own vineyard on this lush island. The guest rooms have access directly onto a private wide terrace which overlooks the pretty little port of Sudjuradj with views out across the sea to the next island of Lopud. We can't speak highly enough of our hosts, so friendly, and they go out of their way to help with anything you ask. This is not a 4star hotel, (check the details on the website) but the couple will make your stay the most memorable holiday you could possibly want. Thank you so much, Bozenka and Davor, for all you did for us, and you can be sure we will return! More than highly recommended.

Wonderful restaurant, wonderful view, wonderful hosts!

This restaurant is next door to our hotel and is a little gem. As is the case in this area the fish you eat is the catch of the day.  You choose your fish and they grill it ti perfection and serve it simply with garlic and oil and very little else. It is delicious and we were tempted to try fish we had never heard of. We were never disappointed.  It is set up on a hill with a beautiful view of the tiny harbour of Sudarad with its boat taxi sipping around. A great place to spend an evening

Lovely couple, super food

We stayed 4 night in August 2017. The hotel is situated perfectly a little bit outside the small fisherman village and has a gorgeous view on the village and sea. We had a huge terrasse (shared with 2 other rooms but nobody used it but us). The rooms are old fashioned but clean and comfortable. We had a bathroom in our room, small but spotless as well.
The big plus is the staff, a couple managing the rooms and family restaurant. They were absolutely adorable with us, we could leave some food we had bought in their fridge and they were super helpful and friendly during our whole stay. 
We had dinner at the restaurant twice. It was absolutely delicious, fresh fish from the sea, cooked with lots of love. Altough it was very expensive (+/- 20€ pp... that is expensive for us), those are unfortunately the prices of Croatia in the high season now... We were shocked to see that it is everywhere the same, but at least in Trisestre, we were sure that the meal was gonna be great.
Altogether I would definitely recommend it for a genuine, local and quiet stay on this beautiful island.

Nicest people on earth

Did not stay here but went for dinner. A very enjoyable meal had by all six of us , with plenty of choice on the menu. Tuna, prawns and wild boar were good. Wine local and good, bottled beer. I would recommend as food was very good and affordable.

Meal with friends

 We stayed here from 30/6 for three nights, a group of four friends in two rooms.  We emailed ahead to say that we would be arriving by ferry as foot passengers but having struggled up the hill with our luggage were then told we could have been met.  Our room was very cramped and very old fashioned, we had a five light fitting in the centre of the room but only one working bulb, two great big oak wardrobes reduced the size of the room and the chest of drawers had a pair of panties in the top drawer so we did not investigate any further.  The bedding was clean but the remote for the air conditioning did not have any batteries in, but once it had been replaced the air conditioning was brilliant.
Our bathroom was across the corridor and was little more than a cupboard.  It is the only bathroom I have been in where you could sit on the toilet, clean your teeth in the washbasin and wash your feet in the shower tray without moving.  The hot water cylinder was hanging off the wall above the shower, there was no extraction fan or window so the room smelt damp all of the time.  The shower curtain did not reach the shower tray and the fabric was thinner than a supermarket carrier bag.  We had plenty of hot water but there was a cobweb above the shower and you could write your name in the dust on the beaker.  The bin was not emptied during our stay despite the towels being changed.   All of the bathroom fittings looked ancient.  We spent the minimum of time in there and never came out feeling clean.  The floor in the corridor between the rooms was dirty and was not cleaned in the three days that we stayed there.
We had a door from the room that opened out on to a terrace with the most amazing view (although in need of a good clean) and they fetched two upright restaurant chairs for each room, that was all there was, no airer, no lounger or parasol, such a waste of an opportunity.  
The description stated there was a private beach but all there was was a small concrete jetty with steps down in to the sea.
On our second night we decided to eat in the restaurant and had an average meal, just half a litre of wine and four main courses (we were not offered dessert), but for an above average price especially for Croatia and with only the owner working front of house the service left a lot to be desired.  The following night we ate at Hotel Bozica and had an amazing meal including wine and deserts for less than we had paid the previous night, and with amazing service.
While there my husband had difficulty walking due to an episode of sciatica and we asked the proprietor if he could give us a lift to the ferry but he said he could only take us part of the way.  Hotel Bozica (next door) came to our rescue and transported us all with suitcases to meet the ferry at no charge, full marks to them and their wonderful staff.
Would I recommend or return to Tri Sestre, either rooms or restaurant certainly not, but would I return to Hotel Bozica, most certainly.
