When we arrived at The View is was not why had been advertised. The building was a construction site with wires hanging, dusty floors & half an elevator. Did not feel safe at all, it was an absolute hazard site and actually not fit to be open.  We booked 3 months in advance and was emailed 1 week before arrival to say they it is under construction. 

Until you get into the room which was beautifully presented and the view from our room was mesmerising.  The room itself was small, pictures are deceiving. 
The breakfast was nice, always fully loaded and fresh. eggs are upon request. 

The main reason for my 4 star rating would be because of the staff, they were so attentive, kind and approachable. In particular a man at the front desk in the evening and the two blond ladies in the mornings. Our room was cleaned everyday and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. 

The location really is the best in Split. It’s right by a supermarket &  a massage spa. It’s so close to the main strip and harbour as well as the beach (which is horrible fyi)  but far enough to make sure you hear no partying in the night ! Everything is about 5 minute walk away, if that. 

Overall it’s the location and staff that made this rating more that the room itself.

I recommend this hotel. Its located in a business building 5 minutes walk from the Riviera. The rooms are adequate and modern. The employees are so nice. Its not called the View for nothing. The views are incredible. Breakfast is limited but very good and you can ask for omelets.

Nice place near the Riviera

DO NOT BOOK - even if this is the last available option in the entire city of split! They do not care even one bit about their customers. My room is on the 12th floor, and despite what they advertise, there is no elevator (well there is one but it’s broken, god knows for how long). I have about 40kg of luggage, which is why climbing 12 floors is not an option. I called them about an hour  ago about this, they told me they’d get back to me, but didn’t and have stopped responding to me all together. 
After an hour and 20 minute of no communication from the property - their “solution” is for me to take a walk around the city with my luggage and find a luggage storage (😂) and i’m guessing then just bring my toothbrush for my 6 day stay? 😂 I have attached a screenshot of their message as obviously this sound like some sort of a joke. This is probably the worst customer “service” I have ever encountured. Do not book under any circumstances, I have literally never experienced anything as ridiculous as this.

disappointing experience - NO CUSTOMER SERVICE

I stayed here for one night with a friend during our vacation to Croatia. This hotel is in a great location if you are interested in exploring the city of Split. The worker who greeted us was incredibly friendly and helpful! The included breakfast is a super nice touch. The room itself was very nice as well. I would definitely stay here again!

Lovely room in an even lovelier location!

Great value! Marianna at the front desk was wonderful, helpful and welcoming. Our room exceeded expectations - comfortable and the shower was great. Wonderful view of the city and water!   Free breakfast was delicious too! Four blocks to the port, cruise ships, and Old Town.

Great choice while in Split

At the top of a former badly maintained communist tower, with a horrible lift.

A disappointment

My partner and I have just returned from 7 nights here. Wow, what a great hotel! The location is perfect; just 2-3 min walk into Split front/old town, but also just out the way enough for a good night's sleep. The views from our room overlooking the harbour were great and the rooms were very clean, modern and we'll presented. The bed was also super-compfy. What stood out for us above all though was just how good the service was. We had a few early starts for excursions to Kika, Plitvice..etc and they were more than happy to make us a packed lunch or let us have breakfast earlier. They honestly couldn't have been more accommodating! Breakfast by the way was more than adequate and well presented. If we're ever back in Split, we'll definitely be staying here again as it ticked all our boxes and more. Highly recommend!

Brilliant Hotel, Excellent Location

Good location. Short walk to Riva restaurants and the beach which we enjoyed. More lovely restaurants over there! Rooms very modern, comfy bed/pillows
Welcoming hosts! Good variety for breakfast with fresh eggs! Amazing view from breakfast also! The only tiny thing was the building, it doesn't look like a hotel as its just a tower block. But who cares what it looks from outside as longs as inside is fab which it was :) Food shop right next to hotel as well, if you want to  enjoy glass of wine in the room later.

An absolute professional and nice reception was a fantastic start for this hotel experience. She has taken care of us and our struggles with the ferry company. The family room is spacious, very clean and nicely equipped. A very high standard of the equipment and the design justifies the name of the hotel. We immediately felt very well in the rooms. If we would have known how great this place is, we would have spend more nights in there. 

Awesome experinece

Had a lovely stay at The View Luxury Rooms - the view was lovely, looking out the windows we could see the surrounding area of local buildings, mountains and the sea! 
The hotel itself is quaint, located at the top of the building, like a hidden gem.
The staff were lovely, we were greeted by the hotel manager Anne-Marija who was excellent. She went out of her way to provide us a comfortable stay for me and my friends. She recommended us a lovely pizza restaurant called 'Bokamorra' - she described it as 'the best pizza you'll taste in Europe' - she was not wrong! The coffee and hot chocolate provided at the hotel was nothing like what we've had before. The only slight downside was that there was not much variety of breakfast options (we only got to stay in at breakfast for one day as we had early 7am starts for some excursions we booked onto, the hotel staff kindly organised a packed breakfast). Otherwise the hotel itself is clean, modern and located centrally to restaurants, shops and to the beach. Would definitely recommend! :)
