My wife and I spent o3 nights here. It is small but has everything you need. It is in the heart of old town Split just off of a square so it is very quiet at night. Even during the day if you have the windows closed you can barely hear anything. The bed was comfortable which is huge for me as I have back problems. The AC worked great although you don't need it much as it doesn't get very hot as there is no direct sunlight because of its tucked away location(we were there at the beginning of June so it wasn't scorching hot yet). Our host was nice enough to meet us at the train station and had some rakjia from his family's vineyard/orchard for us to try. Highly recommended!

Fantastic location!

We stayed a total of 4 nights here (3 in one stretch and 1 later on in the trip). When we were returning to Split, there was no question where I wanted to stay for our last night. Tomo was extremely friendly and helpful in picking us up from the bus station, advising on the sights and restaurants to see/go to, and was just a pleasure to interact with. The room itself is fantastic. Very spacious, great wifi, and the location literally cannot be beat. Due to the amazing location (main floor, right in town), it can be a little loud at night, but as long as you're not trying to sleep at 9pm or something, it quiets down quite a bit. It's a very small price to pay for the benefit of the location. If I am ever in Split again, this would be the only place I would want to stay.

Stay here!!!

The room was simple, clean and had all that you needed. Ideally situated. Tomo met me from the airport shuttle bus, took my bag and was a brilliant tourist guide on the 10 minute walk to the room. He was also happy for us to leave our bags the next day until our departure time which was much appreciated. All in all a great stay, tried to book again at the end of our week but was sadly booked up. There is a café immediately outside the door, no views as such but a great place to put your head down.

Ideal location

I just returned yesterday from a 4 night stay with my partner. We travelled for 3 weeks and this location was the best we stayed at, beating the 4 and 5 star hotels in other cities. 
Tom welcomed us with a spotless apartment and a taste of some family made alcohol. The location is great, and Tom provided us with the split visitors cards allowing is free access to certain hotels. Wifi is reliable and a decent speed, the shower powerful, and the bed comfortable to sleep in.
An small but equipped kitchen area and breakfast table provide a place to have breakfast. Air-conditioning is modern and powerful. 
I would happily recommended this location and return myself. 

Highly recommended 

The apartment and the service were both top class! Tomo, the owner's son, was kind enough to collect us from the bus station. He took us to a ideally located apartment in the heart of the old town. It was spacious room and the attention to detail really made for a comfortable stay (fresh fruit, juice, water, hairdryer, suncream...). The welcome from Tomo and his girlfriend is the real usp for this place though. All the necessary was explained in perfect English and he exceeded his duties by providing a welcome schnapps tasting session from his family's vineyard and really added to the authentic and homely feel.
