This newly renovated apartment is the perfect size for what you need and was spotlessly clean. The hosts were extremely nice even though they didn't speak English and even met us the next morning to walk us to the bus stop. There were plenty of fresh, new towels for us and there was water and juice waiting for us on arrival. The most perfect stay! It is also in a great central location and we had no problems with the noise. 

Couldn't recommend enough!

The accom was clean and comfortable and handy to the central square. Breakfast was located a 5 minute walk away and was delicious and plentiful. We took a day trip to Krka National Park with our host Ivan who was extremely polite and helpful and was punctual at each destination. The only negative was navigating the steep, narrow stairs to the top floor, but to be fair, Ivan carried our luggage up for us when we arrived and down when we were leaving. What more could we ask! Thank you for looking after us, Ivan!

Well located to all the action in Split.

Perfect location, right in the middle of Split.
Room was a good sized double for a short stay, there was a little fridge. The bathroom and shower were excellent & aircon in the  apartment.
The double glazing was good as it blocked out a lot of the loud noise from outside.
Breakfast was at a cafe round the corner.
Reason for not giving  full stars is that we felt it was quite pricey - a lovely lady met us to show us in but she could not give us much advice on the local area/amenities. There was no reception either and the rooms were not serviced.

Central location, comfortable

PROS:
Apartmen[t] is spectacular ... nicely designed and maintained. Excellent Host[s]. Location is also a benefit [in Old Town, shops, stores, restaurants, etc.]
CONS:
Although the geographic proximity to the heart of the action garners the 'great location' rating, the [unfortunate?] physical location does not. It's noisy on BOTH sides ... two busy courtyard/passageway restauraunts full of [singing, loud 'outside voice'] diners are simply feet from the door [from 1000 hrs until after 0000 hrs.].  Window sound-proofing and playing the TV loud helps, but door isn't [can't be?] soundproofed.

We stayed for 5 nights in the studio apartment 
The location is very central to the old town and all the touring and boat excursion activities 
The apartment has all the facilities you expect and the hosts were extremely helpful in guiding us to the apartment from the train station and ensuring we were comfortable 
The only downside was the noise from the courtyard restaurants immediately outside the door of the apartment . Some nights the noise was not a problem after 11:00 pm but on others it went on until the early morning 


Great location but noisy

The room is nice with a large bed and new bath. The whole property is newly renovated, and is super clean.

It looks like the bed had issues before our stay as there was bits of plastic around supports that were letting loose.  I admit I am not the smallest guests, but really one should be able to sit on the bed.  But no down I sat and down the bed craaashhhed.  They should have bought Ikea, instead of the knock off that clearly will not last one more guest in unit 1.  I have propped it up with beach drift wood but it does need to be replaced.

Other maintenance issues are the bedside table on one side is missing, (see the picture of the holes in the wall, where out once stood), and the sink light bulb is burned out, and according to the cleaning staff, has been for a while.

It is not the Ritz I know, and can't see how our little room rates, 4 stars, but really maintenance needs to be kept up.

Beware, the location while great, in the old town, is challenging to find, like many of these smaller apartments. Tried Google maps but the blue locator just spun and spun with weak GPS signals caused by the stone buildings.

If the maintenance issues were dealt with, I would have given this nice property a star or two more.  If this review is helpful please give me a thumbs up.  Enjoy!



Split the bed in Split

You will read of happy costumers but our experience wasn't of the greatest. We arrived at 4 pm and there was nobody waiting for us. The bar close to the entrance had to call the agency and we waited 30 min.... The house, in a central area, was in a super small road, with stinky restaurant air tubes/pipes, and liquids everywhere on the road. The house was at the second floor of a minuscule condominium with no elevator and super small stairs( really dangerous if you have to carry large luggage!). Nothing to complain about the flat itself. The payment was really disappointing: no card accepted and we paid at the bar were the breakfast was booked and didn't get to see any agent of the company. We just "trusted" the waiter, no, that's ridiculous.
