Great value and great location when staying in Split. Very close to the centre of town, only a short walk away. Plenty of cafes and shops in the immediate area too.
The room was comfortable and clean and the staff were very helpful with suggestions of things to do whilst in Split.

Great location

My sister and I stayed here while in Split for 3 days. The staff are lovely, rooms are clean and beds comfy. It’s in a really good location, lots of great restaurants nearby, and not too far from the bus station or ferry port. Well air conditioned and good wifi. The only issue is that most of the rooms are on the 4th floor, and there is no lift. So carrying suitcases up the stairs is difficult. But that’s the only issue we had!

Great location, nice rooms

We stayed for one night before flying back from Split and I am glad it wasn't longer. The hotel had changed names and had not told us so it was very difficult to find. The room had an intercom outside which buzzed continuously throughout the night, as well as a light in the hallway which lit up our room every time someone walked through it. We were awake most of the night. The rooms are well decorated and the bed was comfortable, however, I would not stay here again.

Bad night's sleep

This is really an apartment block not a hotel.  On arrival we had trouble getting in as pressing the button was not working.  A person going in sorted the hotel reception to come down - our room was on the top floor - no lift the young man helped with the bags on the way up thank goodness.
The town is a very short walk away, in term of location it really is perfect.  The room is a bit on the small side but workable.
On leaving there was no one to assist with the bags we only had one very large bag each but we are in our 60's and it was not easy.  Even one resident came out and said it was so disappointing that we had to do this ourselves.
If you have a backpack no problem but if you are on a long trip with luggage give this place a miss.

So many stairs

We booked our long-looked-forward-to stayover in Split about two months ago (early in July) using the Agoda website and paying in full in advance. However, on arrival in September, the staff said that "your booking  has been cancelled" and "sort it out with Agoda". Agoda, on the other hand, said that the hotel had it wrong. No-one would take any responsibility and it took considerable time to sort out.  On the positive side about the hotel, it is conveniently situated, about 15 minutes walk to the fascinating historic centre. On the negative side, it's a series of overpriced rooms (Au$235 per night) on the top floors of a shabby building with no elevator. To call this a "Hotel Palace" is nothing less than a pretentious exaggeration.
