i really liked staying here, the staff were so nice and helpful, even let us on the roof to watch the sunset. the beds were comfy and the pillows were nice and firm and the bathrooms were really clean.

Stayed here a few nights and actually really liked it.

The staff were all really chilled out and made everything super simple. They even lent me a padlock for the lockers. I arrived at a ridiculous hour as a walk in and they allowed me to crash on the couch until the morning when someone checked out.

The rooms were large and had good aircon.

The showers were relatively clean, large and had good shower pressure.

Sweet little kitchen too.

Id stay here again.

Sweet spot near markets

The rooms and beds were decent. The toilet/showers were awful. There are only four combined shower/toilets for all of the people staying there (~40-50 beds) and they are only cleaned once each day in the afternoon. By early evening the floors are disgusting and covered in dirt. For me the exceent location does not make up for this massive shortcoming. 

Disgusting toilets

I repeat, very dirty, especially the bathrooms, nausea just thinking about it. Unopened condoms under the beds when we arrived and when we left. Dirty floors, dirty bathroom walls, floors, toilet, sink, you name it. Cleaning lady was nice and friendly though, but she must have been by herself for the whole building, this hostel is clearly understaffed with all the space to cover and movement throughout the day. All in all: Run.

Very dirty, broken appliances, nauseating smell through the whole building, especially the bathroom. 

We stayed for three nights and it had a great location. But something was always wrong with the toilets. There were two times there was no toilet paper, two times the toilet was clogged and the floors were constantly wet and had hair around it constantly. Also, nothing to dry your hands after washing. You only get one towel and if you want another it costs 50 kn. The place is crowded and you're always waiting for the bathroom. Also when I was changing, the door was constantly opening by one guest and the maid, they would never close it.

Good location but gross

Well-located hostel in centre of town but hostel dirty. Someone was sick all over toilets whilst we visited and kitchen was more like an ash tray. Staff seemed friendly enough but didn’t give much info on area and what to do. Would not recommend unless you want to go out every night and be smashed! 

Well-located but dirty

I stayed here for 2 nights and would not recommend it. The doors are big wooden old doors so every time somebody walks in your 10 people bunk bedroom, there is a lot of noise. Also the people in the hallway you can hear very loud. If you are not lucky with the people staying in your room, you'll  end up like me with loud tourists and a bunch of snoring people. The bathroom was very dirty. I don't think they have a cleaning lady. The water from the shower sometimes reduced in flowing and water got cold. Ventilation was a window between your shower and the kitchen... The good things were the very helpfull staff at the reception and the location. It's cheap but you can't have a goodnight sleep or decent shower.

Friendly reveptionists but noisy and dirty hostel

Beware. Crawling with bed bugs. Dont stay here until they quarantine it and get it sorted. 

Very expensive ordeal trying to get rid of them. Very very disappointed  in the hostel's lack of cleanliness and care taken around this issue
