If you want to get a little closer to “local” and away from a hotel I’d suggest you consider the apartments or BnB’s you can find here. Jurica is an amazing host, let us store bags after very early arrival on ferry from Ancona, even had our luggage in the room when we returned to check in. We had first floor unit, separate bedroom and WC, with living room and kitchen. A few minutes up the hill with good restaurants very close. We would definitely stay here again.

Awesome host and room

After reading many excellent reviews about these apartments, we decided to book and we were not disappointed! The apartment owner was very helpful, he met us to help with our luggage and thoroughly explained the map of Split pinpointing restaurants to go to and avoid etc. The apartment itself was very clean and had everything we needed. Comfortable bed, powerful corner shower, air conditioning and WiFi. We liked the location - only a 5 minute walk and you are in the centre of Split and only 10 mins to the bus stop for the beach/ 15 mins to the port. For excellent value for money, a peaceful nights sleep and clean surroundings, choose these apartments! 

Ideal for a stay in Split 

Young couple stayed in the studio apartment which was fantastic. The apartment was very clean and came with a lot of unexpected extras - toothpaste, toothbrushes, slippers and plenty of towels! Upon arrival the host met us and was very friendly, we were given a mobile so that we could contact them at any time without the need to worry about our data costs. 
The only reason for not giving 5/5 was because there was a problem with the boiler and therefore limited hot water. As we had a short stay (2 nights) there wasn't much that could be resolved in this time. However our host promptly answered our phone calls and did everything possible to fix it.

Would recommend to any couple looking for a few nights in split

Perfect for stopover in Split

Not far from the city centre but in a quiet street you will find these appartments. Host is very friendly, appartments are extremely clean and appartement has everything you need. Perfect place to enjoy a few days in Split. 

Lovely and very clean appartment

Stayed here for one week in late June and cannot praise the owner enough, any questions prior to your stay he is willing to answer before you arrive which is a great help.  Once I found the apartment(my fault for getting lost) which if using the bus transfer is a good 15min walk across the marina/Riva was given great introduction and also a phone is left in the apartment for easy contact for any questions if you are stuck. Location is excellent a short walk down the alley to all the restaurants and marina front. To top it off the owner even arranged for a airport transfer for me(single traveller) at his expense!
