We started and ended our vacation here at House Sandra. Marko was responsive in our communications before and during our stay. We opted to have him pick us up after our long travel day, and he was friendly and helpful, giving us tips and lots of info. Great host – as well as his father, who met us on our 2nd stay.

The upstairs suite was clean, bright, and spacious, and had everything we needed. It was nice to have a sofa and an area to fix coffee or snacks (dishes, utensils, tea kettle, coffee/tea provided). On our 2nd visit, only a small guest room was available on the ground floor. We could hear cars/people outside, as the window is right by the driveway, or sometimes the guests above, but it wasn’t bothersome at all. I was impressed with how much use they made in the smaller space – you still had a desk, coffee/tea service, dishes/utensils tucked in a drawer, etc. 

We’d stay here again, as the hosts were great to work with, and the location of the property is very convenient. You can walk to the harbor to pick up a ferry, go to the stop to take the airport bus, head over to Diocletian’s Palace and the Riva, etc. 

Wonderful stay at a convenient location

We had communicated with the proprietor before arriving and he was waiting for us to park at a friends yard (mere meters away) for 10€.
Room is unique with stunning rock work, mini fridge, AC, great wifi, iron, hair dryer, and tea service.
Comfortable bed, quiet location about two blocks from the heart of Old Town.

Wow!

Our host, Marko, very kindly met us at the airport with a very clear sign (instantly able to relax).  He was so lovely and friendly and able to answer our many questions.  His price was cheaper than getting our own transport.

Immaculately clean. Superb location for getting anywhere in Split, yet far enough away so it's not noisy at night!

Great location in the city.

The accommodation is located in central Split and about a 10min walk from the main bus station, waterfront and major sites of interest. There was easy communication with Marko prior to my arrival. There is also the offer of having a pick-up from the airport at a reasonable fee, if required. 
I was welcomed on arrival and found my self-contained room to be clean, tastefully decorated and with the basic amenities needed for a comfortable stay as advertised. The family is available to assist when needed. 
The accommodation and old town neighbourhood is beautiful with intriguing alleys and original brick-walled buildings. Despite being close to the busy city centre, the surrounding area is quiet. 
I enjoyed my stay at House Sandra and look forward to visiting again. Thank you Marko and family.

Amazing Central Split Retreat

Fabulous accommodation, large spacious room with sink/fridge/kettle and cups/ bowls so we were able to buy a few bits from the shop for breakfast to save a bit of time/money. Clean and welcoming and friendly host who held our luggage on our check out as we were leaving to next destination late afternoon! In central area walking distance to beach and most other attractions and port for boats for day trips etc. 

Recommend to anyone looking to stay in split! Thank you 😊 

Great base for exploring Split!

We recently spent 4 nights in House Sandra and we were pleasantly surprised by it! The room was extremely clean and tidy and had all the essentials for our 4 nights in Split. The bed was huge and very comfortable and the TV was set up with Netflix, YouTube etc. The location was fantastic as it was a 5 minute walk from a sandy beach and a 5 minute walk from the Harbour and centre. Our host was extremely accommodating. He picked us up from the airport late at night, gave us recommendations on the must sees of Split and was overall very nice to deal with. We will definitely to recommending House Sandra to our friends and family in the future.

We only stayed at House Sandra for one night but really enjoyed our stay.

The location is perfect. It’s a 10 minute walk to the old town / tourist area - far enough away to be out of the noise of the town but easily close enough to walk in and out. There is a supermarket less than a 5 minute walk and a nice pizza restaurant just 2 minutes walk away.

The room we had was on the top floor. (A bit tricky taking a large, heavy suitcase up the stairs to the entrance hall and again to the main room - but you only have to do it once).  The room was really spacious with a fridge, coffee machine, and some plates and cutlery. It had good air conditioning and the TV had Netflix and Amazon Prime installed (although you need your own account details).  There was also a large sofa which could easily sleep another person. The bathroom was also a good size - it had a shower but no bath.  Everything was spotless.

I can’t think of anything bad / negative to say about House Sandra.

Lovely place. Great value for money.

Magnificent room equipped with everything you need,     very close to town centre . Hosts were lovely and very helpful. Great value for money and we were able to park our car on site too. You can easily walk to shops, restaurants and riviera. Would highly recommend!

Great stay

Excellent location just 5 mins walk to the Harbour/town center. Made it easy for us as we booked a 7:20am start 5-islands speedboat ride. The host family is very kind giving us detailed driving instructions ahead of time and helping us with the heavy luggage. Very spacious studio - feels like a Swiss chalet imho.
