Can’t recommend this place enough, great informative owner who can’t do enough to make your stay a good one and each room finished to the highest standard. The owners attention to detail was superb from the soaps and shampoos in the bathroom to the range of coffee and teas available. There is also a stocked fridge in your room that you can pay for.

Two flights of stairs to climb but the owner was on hand to carry your luggage.

Fantastic, the only words I can describe it !!

Beautiful room in overlooking the center square. Modern, luxurious, and clean. Fantastic host who greeted us at the start and end, gave us great recommendations to eat and visit. Strongly recommend and will be returning the next time we are in Split

Fantastic stay, perfect accomodations

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel.  It started off on a good note when, as promised, a driver met me at the airport to take me to the hotel.  And the proprietor met us in the plaza area (no cars allowed), taking my luggage to my room.

In my room was a most generous plate of cookies and fruit, along with a bottle of wine.  And hroughout my stay, the proprietor was most helpful.  

My window overlooked a busy square, but I had no problem with noise.  I slept fine.

Very Good Host in Good Location

 Location was excellent within walking distance to everything. Host was available to meet and help us with our luggage as the property is in a pedestrian only access zone. He welcomed us with a bottle of local wine, fruit basket homemade cookies and a bunch f flowers. Excellent welcome to the property. He then proceeded to highlight on a map where we should go to eat and highlights to see. Chops & Grill was an excellent recommendation as the food is exquisite. He would check with us each morning to ensure that everything was okay and if we needed anything. The room was as shown in the picture and very clean. The room also has a beach bag and beach towels which came in very handy. Loved Split and staying here made the experience even more pleasant. Highly recommended. The only negative was that the shower was a bit on the small side but it should be noted that my husband and I are large individuals. The water pressure was however excellent. Downstairs are many cafes and restaurants however with the double glazed windows we heard nothing. Real value for money.

Perfect Property in the Perfect Location

This place is awesome.  The room we had was beautiful.  Modern and comfortable and surrounded by history. Classy decor and great ambiance.  Room looked out on the main square in the Old town with a great view of the bell tower.  The location is perfect as is the accommodation.  But, although I’d give the accommodations a perfect 10, the hospitality merits at least a 12.  We loved it and felt so welcome and prepared to fully enjoy Split. Andrija welcomed us and spent time explaining all of the highlights and attractions of his beloved city.  We were welcomed with a bottle of local
Wine, a large tray of fruit and a tray of amazing homemade cookies.  I loved the thoughtful touches like a beach bag and beach towels for enjoying the beach. Our stay was too short and we didn’t want to leave but we will always feel grateful for the great hospitality welcoming us to Croatia!

We could not recommend Lucija and Lula apartments any higher. The room was beautiful, with original stone wall and lovely decor. 

The owners were very thoughtful and took the time to meet us and explain sites to see and places to visit. 

The location is perfect, just outside the city wall and a stones throw away from the palace.

The room came with a free bottle of local wine and a basket of fruit! These little touches were great. 

If you're staying in Split, don't stay anywhere but here!

Spent 4 wonderful nights in this place. Owner has thought of everything to make a perfect stay! Even had wine, fruits and cookies welcoming us. Location is next to Diocletian Palace and to Priva. We didnt feel the absence of elevator as the bags were managed for us. Owner is very helpful!

Perfect!

Wonderful location overlooking the pjaca (piazza) in a pedestrian zone adjacent to Diocletian's Palace.  You'll be met outside the pedestrian zone and walked to your room.  The entrance is unimpressive, but once you've climbed the 4 flights of stairs you'll enter a luxury room.  Our room was large, beautifully furnished, clean and comfortable.  It's a wonderful haven to return to after a day of sightseeing.

Owners are friendly, welcoming, and helpful.  If you were to stay in a hotel room of similar quality, you would pay triple the price, or more.

Stop searching!!  This place is excellent.

We stayed at many different types of lodging on this Croatian trip and were surprised to find this lodging so well supplied.  The room was very clean and comfortable and the Owner very accommodating, but the big surprise was the huge basket of fruit, the cookies, the nicely stocked refrigerator, the gratis bottle of red wine, the coffees and teas and even little packs of liquid cream. Also, the windows soundproofed the room thoroughly. All in all this was probably the most pleasant lodging due to how thoughtfully it was supplied. Also loved Split. We came from Dubrovnik which was full of junk shops and tourists and very kitschy due to Game of Thrones. Split had soul - beautiful goods in the shops and Old Town.  We were here so briefly - next time I think 2 nights at least. 

Very well appointed room

At first I was a bit concerned when we arrived. Some guy (Who turns out to be the owner) approached us outside and asked if he could take our luggage....uhhh... no! He then showed us our reservation on his phone and said our room would be ready in the next 1 hour. I felt a little better about it.. LOL  
It all worked out, in fact he was extremely helpful. As we waited for our room he sat with us and pointed out activities to do in Split, recommended restaurants and gave us a history lesson. Fantastic! our room was fantastic overlooking the hustle and bustle of the square and the fruit plate, wine and cookies was a total bonus!
The beds were the most comfortable I encountered on our Europe trip
