Great stay, in old town, with parking.
Staff was helpfull, and room was clean & confortable. Just above green market & Dioklecijan palace. Recomended for couplels as design is done for couple.
Smart TV big size & fast internet  was big plus for us.

Great expiriance

We stayed here for 3 nights whilst in Split. The location is fantastic, only a 2-3 minute walk to the main area. 

Unfortunately the apartment is not 4 star as advertised. The bathroom was in need of a good scrub, the bed had stains on the frame, and overall the room just didn’t feel clean. 

Parking is a bit tricky, in order to get free parking you have to park in a fortress which is a bit further up and gets full VERY quickly. 

It’s a shame the room wasn’t up to scratch as the host, Antony, was lovely and incredibly helpful. If you’re expecting a 4 star accommodation, would not book this.

This is not a 4 star place

The location is excellent, very easy walking distance (basically 1 block) into Diocletian's (old part of town). The room is clean and large, the glass shower/bathroom is unusual. Service was friendly and helpful, parking is a bit complicated with very narrow roads and no through access.

Very helpful before and during check in, sent someone to jump in car with us to direct us to parking and help with cases back down hill for check in.  Stayed on 2nd floor.  Open stairs, so no bannister.   Room is nice, although quite basic.  However, clean and tidy.   Close to harbour and old town.  

It is just a room with no reception, although they are on hand for text/calls, etc.   Would stop again, but not for long period (no tea/coffee making facilities).

Great location - okay overnight stay

We arrived at 9pm where Pero waited to greet us. Even though it was late, he stayed for 30mins to explain the city and its sights! As we were chatting, we mentioned we were going to Hvar. Pero then explained the best way to visit saving us €€.
The room is very close (2min walk) to the old town. And parking is 200m up the street. Will definitely stay here again!  

Great Room, Great Location, Better Host

We stumbled into Split late at night after travelling for 24 hours! We were very tired and grouchy but that all faded away when we arrived at Split Suites. The rooms are absolutely as quant and clean as they appear in the photos. They are located right in the heart of Split and a little tricky to find but you will not be disappointed, these units are definitely a great find and we would gladly stay again if we are ever in Split.

Amazing rooms and location

During our time in Split we stayed in 3 different apartments. This was absolutely the worst. Despite costing >$200 AUD for one night (which is not cheap), this apartment gives the impression of being a real cheap “get the job done” type of apartment designed to churn money from tourists without making any effort to create an enjoyable experience or gain return travellers. We are really quite unsure where all the 5 star reviews (on Expedia) have come from as they seem completely unrepresentative of the room.

Although it is close to town, it is in an area that is much dirtier than the side of town towards Marjan (much more beautiful and apartments cost same or cheaper to stay). This area is full of tourist clubs and tourist kebab shops and missing all the beautiful authentic Croatian cafes and restaurants that are elsewhere in Split.  

The room is tidy, but we were shocked that there is no bathroom. There is literally a toilet/shower inside the bedroom with a curtain around it (which didn’t appear this way in the photos or we certainly would not have booked). There was a swinging door that was meant to close the shower or swing to close the “bathroom” however it didn’t seal. There was no sound barrier from the toilet and the toilet is literally open to the bed. This is just so unacceptable and out of keeping with the standards of similar price apartments in Split (and the living standard in Croatia generally).

In addition, the TV had a broken signal and the internet was a very poor connection. A note on the table says the “tea station is free” but there was just a single mint teabag in the tea box. Furthermore the “minibar” asked for an outrageous 3 euros for a bottle of water, but the fridge was completely empty. Additionally we were provided with one thin shower towel each, and no floor mat or face washer (basic things that seem to be the baseline standard here). 

The most concerning thing was the bedroom lock. When you lock the bedroom door from the inside, it can actually be opened to around 5cm to a “lock” position. This was quite uncomfortable overnight as the door could be opened a portion by anyone. It did however lock completely from the outside with a key.

The bed got the job done (again very cheap pillows and linen), the only good thing about this apartment was the blackout blinds. Host was friendly and made check in easy enough but this did not make up for the rest of this place.  We would certainly not return or recommend - you can stay in many beautiful apartments with proper facilities near Marjan for the same or cheaper price.

Needs a lot more work to be worth the cost

Stayed there for three nights. Beds and pillows are very confortable. Arico was working perfect. Petra was algo friendly and show us where the parking was. 
We had to pay in cash (euro or kuna), but we knew that in advance, so it wasn't a problem.
We believe that they need to improve the bathroom. Only a curtain is separating the bathroom and the bedroom. Also the bathroom is quite little and with no facilities to put the towels.

Good but need to improve

We have just returned from a 5 night stay in Split and would definitely recommend this apartment based on its location. 10 min walk to the beach, 2 mins to the centre and around 20 min walk to Marjan Hill. The room was fairly small but perfectly adequate and clean which a lovely shower and tea making facilities. Being almost 6 months pregnant I was worried the bed may not be very comfortable but it was perfect. 

Overall a great stay in Split and Pero was so helpful and gave us really useful information about the places to visit and some tips on how to avoid the tourist prices!

Great location and clean room

I had the pleasure of meeting the owner of the apartments, we had a bit of a drama and the owner was more than helpful to sort everything out and make sure it was all sorted for us, and even though it was only for one night due to a sail booked, he was more than happy to accommodate us,
