We stayed 2 night in August 2017, we really loved the place! Great location, 5 minutes walk from the city centre, nice clean rooms, lovely garden to enjoy in the evenings. Friendly and very helpful owner, would recommend to stay there!

Lovely stay

Where do I start .. This is an unusually difficult review to write, because I LOVED Split, and the owners we met were very kind and helpful. But to be honest the place did not live up to our expectations.

Parking is ... problematic. If you're used to navigating tight alleys where you have single digit centimeters of clearance, then you'll probably be fine. Even then though, you may not be able to park in the designated space provided dependent on the local situation at the time.

Okay let's assume you don't need parking, and maybe you won't as this place is positioned in a very good location near the center of Split. The apartment we had was a bit lackluster. We weren't supplied with towels for all of us, so had to contact them for that. We then later found that we didn't have blankets for all the beds, and when we mentioned this later, we ended up being given for one of the beds what was only a very thin flat sheet that didn't even cover the bed. I am sure we could have contacted them again, but at that point it was a bit awkward to bring it up again.

We also saw two cockroaches during our stay. Yes, I know it's the Mediterranean. Yes, I hear that it's almost impossible to eliminate cockroaches in such areas, but we stayed several other places in Croatia w/o cockroaches, so it's at least worth a mention.

Would I stay here again? Probably not. It should have been easier to enjoy our stay, but the owners are indeed friendly people and we overall had a lovely time exploring Split and the surrounding areas.

Very helpful owners, and close to the center

We stayed 2 nights here, just loved the place and Tatjana was so friendly. Few minutes to lovely split old town and Marjan hills towards other direction. Room was small but beautiful and garden also comfortable. Air condition to heat the room when it was cold outside on May. The other hotel where we stayed was too cold altough there were also aircon. 

Perfect location

I have been there with my husband and we liked very much the location because it is near the center so u don't need a car or a taxi. The only thing I didn't like is that it is a small house with 3 rooms and 2 rooms in first floor are near each other and it can be a little bit noise. Second thing can be problem with parking, one night we parked our car out but unfortunately we didn't have problems. Very kind staff and very clean rooms.

Perfect location 

We stayed at the big appartment on the second floor which was great. The appartment came with a laundry machine stove large fridge etc... My wife was happy to be able to do a few loads of laundry midway thru our vacation. The location is about 3 minutes from the main core.  Comfortable bed, parking available.

Excellent location

Booked in advance very reasonable price for the area.  Location was perfect and easy to walk to all the sites. The host was lovely and very helpful recommending where to visit and restaurants. We ate at two of the recommendations and both were fab. Definitely try the sandwich shop was delicious!!Split is a lovely place to visit and two days is the perfect amount of time.
