THIS RESTAURANT ONLY ACCEPTS CASH. NO CARD PAYMENT. The only notice of this is right at the bottom of the menu in small writing, we just didnt see it, dining outside at night-time. We had even stopped by in person to reserve a table but no mention of cash only. Unfortunately we did not have enough cash with us (100+ Euros for family of 4), which ultimately ruined a nice evening with nice food. We drove passed the restaurant every day and had read great reviews so really wanted to try out the homegrown produce. They make wine which is free with the lamb, so we decided to get a 10 minute taxi ride there from Sumartin (a mistake as it was a 40euro round trip!!). Because we struggled to get a taxi we didnt make it to the restaurant till about 8.30pm and they looked ready to go home. Nonetheless they welcomed us in and we had an enjoyable evening. When we asked about desserts, we got a very firm 'No'. OK we get it, you want to go home. So we asked to pay the bill, but of course, the restaurant is cash only. After suggesting I should walk to the nearest cashpoint 3km away I agreed to leave my driving licence and come back next day to pay. The owners then shut up shop and drove off, leaving us waiting in a secluded location in the dark for our taxi..... When we went back to pay next day, there was no thankyou or apology, just shrugs of the shoulders. I suggested they need to be more clear that they dont accept card payment. More shrugs. Its not our problem she says, it happens all the time. Really? Sort the problem then. She just didnt care. My advice? Just keep on driving passed, dont bother stopping. Unless its daytime and you have loads of cash on you. Even so, we had nicer food elsewhere on Brac. So no, dont even bother. I wish we hadnt been honest and gone back to pay, the lady didnt deserve it. The man was nice though, I feel sorry for him, the chef. And yes, it may be a secluded location with no wifi, but card readers can use mobile data these days, and all your phones seemed to be working fine....

If you want to know how tastes the Island of Brac, I recommend visiting this place. It is good contact owner by sms/whatsupp before you get there. It is possible that he works on the field. Very good olive oil, wine, bio vegetable, lamb, fruit.  So authentic. Very nice, helpful people.

Stojí to za návštevu/ need to see, need to taste

We stayed for 3 nights in this facility with a 9-month-old baby. The facility is very beautiful, it is a stone house No.3 with no kitchen and a double bed. The only drawbacks are the distance from the main residential centres such as Bol and Supetar, it is just an isolated facility and the almost impossibility of using the pool as a gathering place for wasps.

Vacation with Bimbo

We had dinner in two at the end of July. The place was empty, it seemed strange, but we stopped anyway because we liked the place very much. We had dinner outdoors, without mosquitoes and we felt cocked. Enchanted the restored stone houses, typical of Dalmatia, all around the central upscale area, where we eat. They offered us the dishes of the house: bread and oil (from their production), a pre-dinner of mixed cheeses (from their production), as a second lamb at the spiedo with a contour of fried potatoes and vegetables (from their production; at our arrival we saw the sheep talking to the street). Everything very good, the lamb in particular way. Cooked in this way, the lamb is delicious, can taste delicious in the Italian state of the sheep in its service, but we didn't even know how to live a full house, but we didn't even know how to make a full meal of them, but we didn't know how to make a full meal of them!

The best lamb ever!

Dinner here on a Saturday in August, mostly homemade, high-quality cuisine, all surrounded by a fantastic location, open dining with a very pleasant light breeze.

Recommended position

I had dinner here with my boyfriend on the advice of friends. Location immersed in nature and very intimate. On the advice of the owner we ordered a tasting of cheeses as an appetizer and as the main dish lamb and potatoes and grilled vegetables. Everything is really good and especially made at home! Another positive note the price: 465 kuna including water, wine and sweet. Kind and welcoming staff. Very recommended!!!

Ate here again following a meal last year. Still absolutely superb. It's out in the country so very quiet. The lamb is still the dish to choose. Fantastically seasoned and easily the best tasting dish on the island!

Great service also from what is a family run restaurant using local meat, locally grown vegetables.

2nd visit - still as great as ever

If you are looking for an authentic Island Brac experience do your self a favor and go here. Hands down the most authentic restaurant I have ever been to in the world thus far. All the wine, Olive oil, lamb and veggies all grown on their farm and made on site. Lamb is to die for. It's roasted over open fire and the taste is sureal. I love lamb and have eaten it all over the world, this is by far the best. Atmosphere is unbelievable. Calm relaxing and great service . All service is provided by family members. Would highly recommend this place  

Amazing food

Located almost in the center of the island of Brac, in an oasis of silence. The location is really formidable, it is a group of renovated houses that serve as rooms (in rent), in the center of the houses is obtained a plazzetta with tables, where the restaurant serves dinner. The menu does not offer many reaches, the choice is limited to a few dishes. The kitchen is the local one, with ingredients from the area and very fresh. The dishes are very simple but good. The price is in the average, maybe a few kuna less than the restaurants that are in Boleri or Supetarano or Sumartin.

Not just to eat but to relax

During our stay on the island, we came across this farmhouse and, curious, we decided to have dinner there. The location, characteristic and suggestive was spectacular. We were greeted by the kind owner who spoke a good Italian and who recommended us very well. After a taste of the oil produced by them, we went to cheeses and salumi (exquisite rice), and then opted for the lamb: the best ever eaten!! The vegetables, also produced by them, are very tasty! We also very much appreciated the wine of the house. In fact, a perfect evening!
