The kindness and availability of the owners makes us forget about the negative aspects of this small boarding house in the interior of the island. We spent a week here, never having dinner at the restaurant, of which I can't speak. The room we were assigned, air-conditioned, was large enough for 3 people and the bathroom was also spacious. The Wi-Fi signal is good, although not always working, and the completely independent entrance is definitely appreciated when you are on vacation and you don't have any schedules. The swimming pool is also great, never crowded. The aspects we least appreciated are the cleanliness and breakfast that is certainly not from a hotel, but it is also enough given the cheap price of the stay.

No infamy and no praise

Konoba Tomic retains its origins as a cellar, offering its own production products at low prices. To taste the grilled meat cooked in the charming wooden fireplace. Very suggestive location for dinner. Modest room, improving, especially in the breakdowns (e.g. ante windows and flexible shower spray). Even breakfast could have its authentic features, introducing buffet and respecting punctuality (from 8am, as promised at check-in). The area shows features of omission to the search (e.g. sleeping on the ground floor), and even if this has not been improved, the hotel's facilities may not be improved.

Good foundation and location, improving, but suggestive for dinner

We were in the pre-season at the Konoba Tomic boarding house, and we would do it all over again. Whoever likes to hang out with locals instead of other tourists from all over the world is right at Valentino's. The rooms aren't really the biggest, but whoever like us used them just for sleeping, the beds were good and the rooms were clean. The breakfast that the boss personally prepared us the first days was very good.

In the middle instead of just doing it

The hotel is located in a quiet village in the center of the island, away from the tourist bustle. The pension system is very dirty and authentic. Very nice pool. There are free parking spaces. On the other hand, the room in which we lived was in need of some renovation (defective box doors, running faucets, defective shower wall, loose clogs). Despite the slightly disappointing room, the hotel is suitable for guests looking for a stay in Brac in a quiet atmosphere. The only daily view of the house in Zwinger, the Idylle. The adjacent restaurant is very well visited and serves dishes from its own Bioland.

Old retirement with disabilities

Nice swimming pool but we've never had the opportunity to eat at the farmhouse for dinner in the 800-year-old house and visit the cellars recommended for those who want to get out of the classic tourist routes and the crazy evening, still staying only 10 km from Bol

Vacation in Brač

Ideal location for a quiet visit to the island and 10 kilometres from the hustle and bustle of Bol. Perfect home from the owner who made us discover the only sandy beach of our vacation. Very good price ratio with breakfast included very plentiful. Clean room with small balcony and perfect swimming pool. We also had a dinner at the tavern: tavern style fire grilled meat with round table and wooden stool.

Exceptional welcome, great place

Just in the middle of the island, between Bol and Supetar, is a real gem- Konoba Tomić.
They are trying to keep authentic ambiance, customs and food, and they really do a great job.
Nearly all the food they prepare is home-grown or home-made.
Food is delicious, service is marvelous, as are their domestic products like wine and honey, which one can buy.
Will come again, for sure

Really friendly owner . Food in adjoining restaurant great. A spacious 3 bedroomed apartment really well equipped. Great pool .  Only negative was church bells ringing in early morning, but that's village life! Very uncommercialized village was good base for island touring. Would definitely return.

Lovely, relaxing, authentic, setting.

We spent 3 nights here and booked out a 3 bed apartment for 2 families. The apartment was clean and pleasant enough - watch out for cupboard doors that are falling off though and the leaking toilet in the main bathroom! There is only air con in the main living room and none in the bedrooms which wasn't ideal as it's very hot at night.
The owner was pretty unwelcoming and not overly friendly which I suppose doesn't matter that much but a pleasant welcome always enhances a visit. The pool is lovely - we had this to ourselves every time we visitied which was lucky as there are only 4 sun beds. 
If you are not driving your own car I wouldn't advise staying here to be honest, you can get the bus down to Bol but this isn't really worth the hassle, so stay in the main town if you don't have your own car. It is a very peaceful village, one cafe and one shop, so it was interesting to experience something a little different and off the main tourist trail having said that. The one redeeming feature and worth a visit from Bol one evening even if you're not staying - is the restaurant. An atmospheric converted farm building that houses a huge open stone oven. They offer spit roasted chicken, lamb, veal, sausages etc, all of which were utterly delicious and highly recommended. Do give the restaurant a try - this was the highlight for all of us without a doubt. 
On Booking.com it states "The guest house has a private beach in Paklina Bay and offers free transfer to the beach." The owner told us this was not the case when we asked about it which was annoying as it was one of the reasons we'd booked in the first place. It also says "The owners of Pansion Konoba Tomić have a separate estate with sheep and horses, 10 km from the main building. Free transfer service to the estate is provided. Guests can enjoy horseback riding" but I have no idea if this is true either judging by his reaction to our enquiries about the beach.
