I went with my sister in July 2017. We booked through a booking. She's a very nice hostess who makes wonderful homemade wine. The room is clean, small. The plumbing and everything else is working fine, the kitchen has everything you need. The hostess always goes to the meeting if you ask for something. The location is not the most convenient for the elderly, going down and up to the sea will be difficult as it is for small children. For young and energetic - a great option in terms of price-quality. We liked it - we recommend it!

That's a good one!

After arriving at Villa Adria very late as my flight as delayed, Ana was great she had stayed up for me and then ordered me pizza as I hadn't eaten! lovely room with an amazing sea view.  Ana was amazing, she made me Turkish coffee and we chatted often, I even brought 2 jars of her tasty mandarin marmalade home for my mum.  Ana gave me lots of hints for places to visit and made my first trip to Croatia very special. I would definately recommend staying with her as she is so lovely and her home is your home during  your stay.

This was the worst accommodation we had in Croatia after traveling a lot through it, for the following reasons:
-the apartment was not at all corresponding to the description: very small, kitchen was not fully equipped (e.g. Dishwasher was missing) and almost impossible to cook in, for the size it was, and above all, the apartment was dirty and provided with very old fornitures - the feeling was really bad. Moreover, the owner: he pretended to be friendly, but the reality is he was pushy and intrusive beyond any acceptable limit. Just one example: he 'told' us we didn't have to use the A/C in the room, because he decided the temperature was fine opening the windows. No matter what kind of insect fear you could have (there are a lot of insects there - but this is normal I guess), or the fact that he advertised the A/C as available. What happened is that he came into our room while we were out for dinner, to shut it off (yes, we were so dare not to follow his advice) - we felt that as a big intrusion in our privacy/freedom. Price wise, it is also very expensive for what they offer, you can save up to 20% in other structures close by (we were in a another structure in Mlini after this one). You can go to the sea by walking, but expect walking uphill when you have to go back (steep in one part). A general advise: Mlini is good if you want to stay there and go to the sea around that. If you plan to spend most of your time in Dubrovnik instead, better to get an apartment within walking distance of the old city, as the parking in Dubrovnik is really expensive and there are very few free parking spots.

Not what they promise

Two nights on the premises with our children to visit Dubrovnik while enjoying the beaches: impeccable. The owners are very welcoming (refreshments on their terrace on our arrival+car tour with Monsieur to explore the surroundings)! The small apartment allows you to sit down: two real rooms, a small fully equipped kitchen, a living room and above all a balcony with a splendid view of the sea and the mountain in the shadow of the vineyards. Bath in Mlini, two beautiful coves at the back of the house 10 minutes walk from Autnik, passing by a charming park with stoves, low children's games and the shadow of pine trees. Practical details: Konsum supermarket 2 minutes by car, commission on Optrovnik, to the bus stop from the house in Dubnik.

Perfect place to stay in Dubrovnik with family

When arriving there, after a long drive from Zagreb, it was very good to be warmly welcome by Ana & Miro, the owners of the appartments. Four our first trip to Croatia, it was in this Country as well the first time we had this kind of accommodation.
We discovered a convenient 2 bedroom appartment with air-cond in one of the rooms and in the linving-room/kitchen. It was working well, but unfortunately not sufficient to efficiently cool down the 2nd bedroom during the warm days we spent there.
We had a small but nice balcony surrounded by greenery and offering a pretty nice view towards the sea.Hassle-free parking available on-site.
Ana and Miro were always very kind and supportive, especially when we had some troubles with the WiFi due to a faulty device in their set-up. Once the device turned-off, WiFi was evetually working fine.

Nice and affordable accomodation with a warm welcome

Mlini is a wonderful place for vacation especially for people with kids: clear water in the sea, nice beaches and a wonderful park with palm trees, cypresses and playgrounds by the sea. Accommodation in the house of Ana and Miro had everything that we needed. The house is close to 3 or 4 beaches, supermarkets, restaurants, but also in a quiet environment. Vila Adria is close to the bus station and there are buses to Dubrovnik on every hour or less. It's comfortable and clean place, with a lot of flowers, TV, Internet and especially helpful and hospitable hosts. Ana's fruit cakes are the most delicious in the world.
