Lovely apartment, which is 5 minutes from beaches and the local tavern.  Fab views from the balcony, good cooking facilities and confortable beds and excellent cleanliness.  Derek and Federica are lovely people and fabulous hosts.

Villa Fede Review

Excellent position in Mlini, very close to the sea. The house is in a very quite streat. The flat was extremely clean, conveniently equipped. We particularly appreciated the fact that each of the two bedrooms has its own bathroom. And the hosts are very kind and helpful. 

Great experience!

We stayed here in July 2019. The villa is absolutely amazing! Stunning views from the balcony overlooking the sea. The apartment is spacious and clean. 2 minute walk from the beach and local bars and restuatrants. We got the water taxi into Dubrovnik. Mlini is the perfect location for a peaceful relaxation and beauty within close reach of the busier towns of Cavtat and Dubrovnik. Derek and Frederika are very welcoming and knowledgable of the local area always willimg to help if you have any questions. They very kindly helped us to orgamise taxi's to and from the airport. We will definately be returning.

Villa Fede is located near a lovely little marina filled with a relaxing atmosphere , lovely people , restaurants and the beach is a minute walk from the apartment .

Derek and Fedarika are lovely, they make your stay at villa Fede a home from home comfort with a dash of paradise ! the views from the apartment are stunning .

If you need any help or advise they are there to help . And they know the best spots to go to off the tourist track .

They sorted the taxi for us as it was a late flight & we were made to feel very welcome on arrival with a glass of beer or wine. 
 The place is lovely the room was very clean which also had a safe, there are cooking facilities undercover for use with our room which was lovely, will definitely be staying again


Lovely owners

We booked these apartments and weren't quite sure how far from the sea they were. It's amazing when you have a great view but with a 5 minute walk your at the sea front. The apartments are great compact but have everything you need. Great owners they are helpful and have sorted out our taxi pick up from the airport and also very easy to pay them before we left UK.
The ground floor apartment has a little courtyard with table and chairs and keeps very cool as it's low, behind wall which helps when it's very hot. Mlini is very quiet and the apt is just away from the centre of the front so secluded and quiet. Can't thank our hosts enough for a beautiful setting and for caring. 

Holiday in a gem of a place

We booked the 2 bedroom apartment as a bit of a last minute thing and were delighted with it. Mlini is set on a very steep hill but Villa Fede is only minutes from the harbour and so relatively easily accessible. The apartment itself is beautiful with everything you could need, even two bathrooms, and a balcony with the most beautiful views. In a couple of minutes you're at the harbour for boats to Dubrovnik, Cavtat and numerous islands, or coach trips to Montenegro and Bosnia. Also there are a few lovely restaurants close by, the great bar Hoggar with a really friendly atmosphere and all the live football, and a shopping mall with a large supermarket in Srebrena, a lovely 20 minute stroll away. Villa Fede's owners Derek & Frederick are lovely and welcoming, and will also arrange your taxi transfers to and from the airport. We would stay there again in a heartbeat, perfect.

Perfect Stay

We landed in Dubrovnik to be met by the transfer arranged for us and dropped directly at the apartment where the owners met us with a cold beer and a warm welcome. We stayed in the top floor apartment  which has been renovated to a very high standard and is spacious and airy with a magnificent sea view. This area is quite hilly but everything you need is within walking distance and the people are wonderful. I will definitely look to return again!! 

Beautiful apartment in a slice of paradise :)

as a family of 3 we decided to book a 2 bedroom apartment instead of all cramming into one room in a hotel. We have been to Mlini before (stayed at the asterea Hotel) and know the area and saw a few apartments along the front so decided to book one. We found the Villa Fede which is tucked away from the main road and is accessible up a bank and steps behind the Mlini Hotel. We were greeted by Derek and Frederika upon arrival - they also booked the taxi transfer for us from the airport. (which in itself was hassel free and cheap). we were shown to the apartment which is above their own. 
The apartment was clean and well equipped with a kitchen, dining area, lounge, tv, dvd player, balcony with outdoor seating and table and 2 bedrooms with a bathroom for each room. A large sofa in the living room could be used for children to sleep on and bedding and towels were provided. air conditioning was welcome on those hot days.  The views from the balcony are stunning looking out to trees and the sea. One of the water heaters broke down during our stay but was fixed the same day. Nothing is too much trouble for our hosts and they are great at suggesting areas to visit and eat. The water taxi to dubrovnik and cavat are in the nearby harbour and are easily booked near the apartment. Restaurants and bars are also at the bottom of the bank so no great walking distance for these or the beach. There is a large supermarket and small shopping mall about 20 minutes walk but its well worth a visit as its a nice walk along the way through the trees and bays. (near the large new sheraton hotel). 
Our hosts also booked our taxi transfer back to the airport.  
Overall i would highly recommend this apartment.
