Although I did not get the opportunity to stay at Villa Ana due to late flight cancellation, I feel that I would like to commend the owners on dealing with a full refund so promptly and without any issue. This tells me a lot about the integrity of the people and hopefully I can make it back to visit them when things return to normal. Many thanks for your help and for being so corteous

Nice Owners

When you book on line for a place that is literally half way around the world you never know what to expect...then you come to Villa Ana and your expectations are exceeded a million times over (and you never want to leave, ever)!

From the moment we arrived and Carol was waiting for us at the steps to the hugs upon our departure this place was amazing and now holds a very special place in our hearts. 

The apartment we had (the largest one) was very well appointed, spotlesly clean, had heaps of room and the view from the balcony is worth "a million dollars". There is everything you need to self cater, the beds are compfy and the shower was excellent with great water pressure. We wanted for nothing.

In addition - the family restuarant right below the apartments is the absolute best ever! And the family is more than happy to help with any questions or needs you might have. We cannot recommend this gem highly enough and our only regret is that we left to come home.

You will not find better!

All the positives comments you read are true about these appartments.
we have rented the 2 small rooms at second floor, with a couple of friends, and spent really a fantastic week.
The place is nice, with restaurants and bar nearby.
The sea view is really breathtaking.
We were warmly welcome by Carole our host who takes care every days of her guests.
The breakfast served in the restaurant above is complete.
Having a private parking on the small harbor is a real valuable because in this area, car trafic is regulated.
Everything was fantastic, thank you Carole.


Better than expected !

Just returned from a week in the apartment and would highly recommend a stay. Very relaxing, clean, spacious, well equipped & well located with boats to Dubrovnik & Cavtat going from harbour right outside. Karol & Ivo we’re very welcoming and even made an amazing birthday cake for Perez Birthday on Tuesday :-) . We will definitely go back. 

Relaxing holiday 

The apartment is perfectly situated for sea views, lovely restaurants and travel by boat to Dubrovnik and the surrounding islands. We definitely recommend the 3 island fish picnic tour, a whole day out including lunch all for 300 kuna. 
Karol at Villa Ana couldn't have been more welcoming or accommodating, even going so far as to letting us stay on a bit longer as our flight wasn't until early evening (check out should be by 10am). 
Lovely room & balcony, the apartment was one room with bed (2 singles pushed together to make a large double), kitchenette (fridge, sink, kettle, toasted sandwich maker & 2 hobs) & dining table and en suite shower room. Our only (very minor) gripe was that the fridge was noisy and it didn't seem possible to turn it off.  
The region is mountainous, so if you find hill walking difficult Mlini / Cavtat / Dubrovnik may not be the place for you. 
We absolutely, 100%, recommend Villa Ana as a wonderful place to stay. Thank you Karol! 

Fantastic 

Yes, we got to Mlini in October after a 12-hour drive from Budapest, around 23:00 and Mrs. Karol waited for us with a big smile and she did not rush us at all. That being said, we checked in and went directly to Konoba Lanterna, the restaurant downstairs where I, cross my heart, had the best seafood dish in my life. The peaceful and serene Mlini it's all a traveller can ask for if looking for a calm and cosy atmosphere. We were on our honeymoon and we still say that Mlini and Dubrovnik and Croatia were the best destination we got to in your mini Eurotrip including Budapest, Florence and Vienna. Thank you once again Mrs Karol, thank you Mlini, thank you Croatia for an unforgettable experience! We will see you again!

From Mlini with love

It was our first time in Croatia and we are so happy we chose to stay here! Mlini is a beautiful and peaceful place - ideal for those seeking a relaxing holiday. Villa Ana is perfectly situated right on the harbour close to bars and restaurants and only a 5-10 minute walk from Srebreno. The room we stayed in was clean and spacious, it also had a small balcony with a brilliant view of the adriatic sea. There is a restaurant downstairs that serves delicious dalmatian dishes - we recommend reserving a table as it is very popular! The owner was very welcoming and helpful during our stay and we couldn't be more thankful! Dubrovnik can be reached by taxi boat from the harbour opposite, as well as other places nearby such as Cavtat. Mlini itself has plenty to offer - beautiful pebble beach, scenic walks and great restaurants. 
We will definitely come back to Mlini again and stay at Villa Ana!


Relaxing and romantic!

Definitely a place to return to. It is by the small port in Mlini, two minutes to the beach. The apartment has a nice bedroom, living room with well equipped kitchen. The terrace is huge with two sun beds. Even though it is above the restaurant, there is no noise or other disturbance.  Ms. Karol, the owner of the place is a great host, very hospitable and professional.  Only problem is very weak wifi, but you are in vacation. If you feel like visiting Dubrovnik but prefer to stay in a quite place, definitely go to Mlini and villa Ana.
