The apartments and the garden are beautiful, however this was tainted by the fact that the apartments are looked after by militant hosts who run the place like a Victorian boarding school. There are very strict curfew rules, where absolute silence is required from 11PM - 7AM. This was not communicated any where on the website - and as a group of friends on holiday together this wasn't a comfortable or appropriate  environment to be in at all at all. 

I haven't been told to go to bed since I was 10 years old so to have some strangers barge into my apartment telling me to go to bed, calling my friends and I names and shouting at us was very alarming. It would be understandable if we were behaving inappropriately but sitting quietly at 12pm in a communal area of the hotel and being yelled at for no reason was very uncomfortable indeed. 

My friend had a necklace thrown in the bin, they let themselves into our rooms, insulted us and were very unpleasant to be around. I would not return here, and would recommend any one who enjoys having personal space, and freedom to enjoy a holiday that is based around being with friends and being at a music festival to avoid this place like the plague.

For festival goers: BEWARE! Terrible hosts!

My friends and I came here on our last holiday before uni and to go to Soundwave Festival. The owners of the apartments were delightfully helpful and really lovely. The apartments were brilliant value for money with an outdoor seating area right outside our three apartments and a lovely little pool area. Situated only a short walk from the bridge and the town of Tisno itself, would highly recommend. The only fault would be being woken up by the church bells.

Amazing last holiday

I have to admit I wasn't sure about booking Dvor Maraca as their website is quite understated. But our group of 10 were absolutely delighted when we arrived to find the paradise that awaited us. We were in town for Electric Elephant and DM was the perfect base to enjoy the festivities and make the most of Tisno itself, an absolutely lovely, authentic Croatian village with excellent restaurants. 

Located by Tisno clock tower, with its charming bells, the apartments are a haven of tranquility. The rooms themselves are basic, very clean and cool. But it is the pool, outdoor kitchen and stunning gardens that make it such a special stay. Lots of people from the festival stay at DM and everyone hangs out by the pool in the day, which is very friendly and fun. 

Tino and his family are the perfect hosts and will go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your visit. As soon as we got back we booked for next year we loved it so much.

Adriatic perfection in Tisno

This place was perfect (the apartment and also Tisno). My friend and I went to Croatia, firstly go to Electric Elephant for my sister's 40th birthday and also to see Croatia. Croatia is gorgeous, Tisno is lovely, Electric Elephant is a rather nice dance festival and this apartmant is so lovely. When we arrived at the apartment we were welcomed by the owner (so sorry I've forgotten her name). She gave us a big bottle of beer- yum! What a way to start the holiday. We didn't have a meal on the plane so were starving. The restaurants, bars and shops are less than a minute's walk down the quiet back streets to the water's front so we were soon well fed and I think this was about 11pm by the time we had our dinner. The small supermarket, bakery and market stalls are the same distance away as the restaurants and bars so we were able to do our shopping really easily and conveniently. 

The apartment itself was very homely, clean and comfortable. The garden is beautiful with a pool in the courtyard. The bell tower is very cute. The bells ring quite often but I thought this was nice. Listen out for Sunday morning's rendition.... wow that was some tune. Look out for the three old fellas selling lavendar bags and home made wine in the alley way, they were very welcoming and their home made hooch certailnly warmed the cockles! Another useful thing to mention is that although there were lots of young 'ravers' (myself included....maybe not the young bit) staying at the apartment, there was a quiet time between 11pm and 8am I think so yiu could get a good nights sleep.

I would definately go to Croatia again, definately Tisno and definately to this apartment. I enjoyed everything about this holiday, the country, the people, the weather, the scenery and the festival. 

Book this place and you won't be disappointed. Actually I remember feeling sad to leave but happy I'd had a great time.
