We had 2 families stay at the penthouse unit and the view was amazing. Short 10 to 15 min walk to town. Great rooms and AC which was key since it was pretty hot out. The host that met us was very gracious as well. Showed us around the area and the beach and pool as well.

Where to start, the day before we arrived we let the owners of the apartment know our arrival time 2pm (the time the apartment is available from). We arrived at 2 and were informed the apartment would not be ready for another hour/hour and a half, they had our contact details but failed to let us know. After an hour the lady (who was friendly)  allowed us into the apartment which at first glance is spacious and modern with a lovely view. However the jacuzzi bath advertised online was no longer in the apartment and the apartment seemed unfinished. The apartment slept 8, however there was only enough cutlery for 5, The kitchen was poorly equipped (no oven gloves, tin opener, tea towel, etc). We also had to ask for toilet paper. The upstairs bathroom had what appeared to be a shower but actually was just a tap (no shower head- see photo attached). The plug sockets were not properly attached to the wall- which was also a bit of a worry. Finally the upstairs bedroom didn't have an aircon, just a fan which for the price of the apartment was disappointing.
Overall we would not stay here again, we had wanted to treat ourselves on the last night of our holiday but it ended up as our most expensive yet inconvenient of stays in Croatia

Apartments "not so fun" 

After looking at many properties we decided on 3 for our sumner holiday.
I booked a 2 bedroom apartment in the " apartments fun" for 2 nights in July 2014, this booking was confirmed by the owner on the 3/1 /2014, however 3 weeks before our holiday he cancelled stating that he had over booked.
When I checked with bookings.com apartments were available he re sold our booked apartment  3 days after he cancelled us, he took another booking because the person wanted more nights than us.
SO BEWARE WHEN BOOKING. We then had to spend hours on the computer trying to find an apartment in the same area which we were not able to do, when we found something else we had to pay a lot more.
The owner did offer us a bottle of wine if we were passing.
We are very pleased that we did not stay there.
Why take 6 months to cancel?
Glad we went to the other side of the island as it was nicer.

APARTMENTS FUN, BEWARE WHEN BOOKING.

Trogic is a stroll away , although the hill on the way back is steep for about 5.5 minutes the rest is ok. Our top floor apartment have 2 terraces with beautiful views. A set of floating steps takes you to  the mezzanine bedroom a large airy room with a fancy white leather bed, very confortable as well a single bed, wardrobe, air conditioner and bathroom with shower enclosurer. The ground floor is open plan, air conditioned and contemporary furnishned. The second bedroom is small room with 2 joint single beds and  small wardrobe. Tanija was friendly and gave us good tips. The owner gave us a lift to the Bura Line down the hill on our last day and gave us some tips about Hvar. Airport transfers can be arranged for 150 kunas.

great apartment

We booked Apartment Fun for a weeks holiday at the end of a boat trip from Split along the coast. Our first impressions were good and we were allowed into the apartment early (midday) as we had arrived early. The apartment was clean, modern and nicely furnished. The bathroom did not have a shower curtain or screen so you could not have a standup shower without soaking the floor! The only air conditioning was in the lounge area so the bedrooms were hot.The downside was it was halfway up a steep hill and if you wanted to go into Trogir the shortest way was up the rest of the hill which was VERY steep and then very steep downward incline into the town.The walk was only about 15 minutes but in temperatures of 35+ it was hard! There is only one bridge linking Okiug Gornja to the town and it is constantly blocked with traffic so getting the bus (if it turns up) or getting a taxi is out of the question as you just sit in traffic. We found it very restricting and did not want to treck out once we had made it home.The best beach we found was Slatine which was a taxi ride away but well worth it as the sea was much cleaner than locally. There was only one local restaurant at the bottom of the hill but it was good if a bit slow. Overall a pleasant week but not a good location.
