Stayed at Villa Fani for a week end of August.
We booked 2 rooms as a family and we loved our stay.
Contrary to the previous review, we found the staff and owners very friendly and accommodating. We arrived in the evening to be greeted with beers and water! They don't want parties into the night -  
Its a high standard of accommodation Very professional and superbly managed. We like the fact that the Villa is exclusive to hotel guests because this made the swimming pool always available for a sunbed and space to swim and relax also, as it is small it was peaceful and relaxing.
We used the BBQ area a few times which was lovely on an evening with gorgeous views. The reception is open most days and staff are helpful if you have questions.
Trogir is a 10 to 15 minute walk. There's a boat that also runs into Trogir. You'll see details as you walk along to the beach. We loved Trogir with its gorgeous restaurants, bars and lots of lovely shops. 
Beach is a few minutes walk. There's supermarkets and a great bakery to grab fresh bread. Lots of restaurants and bars within easy reach. 
We did a few trips. On the beach front a few mins walk away there's lots of excursion stands that you can book through. We did a private speedboat trip to the islands for 300 euros. We left at 9am and came back at 1pm. This was nice for snorkeling and swimming. We also did the full day trip to Mostar (Bosnia and H) This was amazing totally recommended.

Wonderful stay 

Stay away from this hotel!  Especially when you need help from other people. House rules says: No strangers  at No circumstances.
During a vacation i dislocated my arm so could not carry even my bag.   My brother who tried to help me was excused from the hotel in a very unpleasent way!!!! Old lady guarding this facility speaks No english and pretend not to understansd any other language…… except „no pay no come”…… when trying to explain something i was warned that her husband is a lawyer…… INTIMIDATION!
Please be warned. This hotel cares only about your money not YOU.   And if you are handicappad in any way do not expact mercy !!!!
BE ASHAMED villa fani!!!!!!!!

We really enjoyed our stay in beautiful Croatia.  The villa was very pleasant and it was quiet and peaceful. The accommodation is fairly basic but everything was very clean and comfortable. I would have appreciated a more frequent change of towels and bed linen.  We stayed for 10 nights and I think we had 3 changes.  Also, you need your own towel for the sunbeds.  There is a small pool which was perfect for cooling off after being out for the day in some very high temperatures.  The walk up to the villa is extremely steep so please be aware if you have any mobility issues.

Uphill Climb to Villa, not for the faint hearted!

We stayed here in June as two friends, really lovely clean and modern apartment in a quiet location. Only downfall is the steep hill back from Trogir old town - we went here each night as not much else around the villa (only a 15 minute walk but a little strenuous).
However, saying that we would stay again!

Great Stay

Villa Fani is beautiful, lovely rooms, pool and surroundings however we had trouble with the shower, flooded the bathroom and leaked through to the apartment ceiling below us. Also our room was not cleaned once for the whole week we stayed. We had to ask for clean towels, more toilet rolls and for our bins to be emptied as they were overflowing. We also had a late flight home but they wanted us out our room by 10:30am. We were allowed to put our suitcases in reception but we had no where to shower and due to it being 30 degrees + this was a shame. In the end we had to wash in the shower that was meant for the pool when no one was watching. Despite all the above, we did have a really great time in Trogir, great location and the villa really is beautiful. It just needs a better maid service!

Lovely villa and location

Villa Fani is an excellent and well appointed accommodation located on the island of Ciovo, linked and close to Trogir, comprising a small number of apartments with shared pool and terrace area.

The accommodation is extremely well maintained by the owners and our apartment (comfort one bedroom apartment with sea view) had just been renovated to a very high standard.  Apartments are well equipped and comprised bedroom, sofa-bed in living room, dining area and kitchen.  Our room also had a balcony with lovely views down to the pool area and beyond to the sea.

It's worth noting that Villa Fani is situated on a steep incline. Whist this was fine for our family (minus a few breathless moments) the elderly or those with very young children may struggle.

We had a lovely holiday and would thoroughly recommend Villa Fani for your perfect holiday accommodation in Croatia!

Excellent apartments with sea views

We stayed a week in a studio apartment which comes with a breakfast kitchen. Each morning we enjoyed breakfast on the balcony with a fantastic view of the sea and  the hoopoe which flew back and forth between the trees of the property. We liked the location which is quiet (apart from the airplanes approaching over Trogir) and close to the beach and Trogir (a nice walk through a residential area). There is also a supermarket down the road which comes in handy.

Lovely place

we have just returned form trogir and stayed at villa fani i wouldn't know where to start. firstly i suppose i should say the family who run this villa are absolutely fantastic friendly and  helpful from the mum fani to her grandson. the villa itself was better then we could ever have expected top review is the pool it was warm beautiful to have a lovely dip in it had an infinity end and a jaccuzzi the other the surrounding area of the pool was also top class they have gone to a lot of effort to make it look so good and are always cleaning around it to keep it that way. the room was very nice lovley balcony, lovely bed. large bathroom  and view was to die for what more can i say . i did look it two other apartments on my last day on the opposite side of the villa as we like to sit on the balcony in the sun  early evening and the sun had gone from our side ( room no 10) so would defiantly choose that side myself saying that  it was warm enough all night on our side. as we sat out there every night when we arrived home and had a drink up till midnight, on our first night into town we had a lovely night till we were coming back up the hill omg it is steep we are both 57 and quite fit but it was a hard slog. i did say on the first night i wouldn't stay at the villa again because of the walk back BUT after the first night when we done it again you realise its not that bad and each night was easier and to get to villa fani it was a small price to pay. thanks a lot for our lovely stay i would recommend this place to anyone fantastic  from carol and paul
