The hotel is slap bang in the Old Town, about a 5-minute walk from the bus station, in a beautiful medieval building.

I paid €30/225 Kuna for a spacious single room with private bathroom.  My original plan had been to stay in Split, but no way can you get that kind of accommodation for €30 in Split so I went for Trogir and took the 37 bus into Split (glad I did, Trogir is a gorgeous town).

The owners are incredibly friendly and bend over backwards to welcome guests.  I rolled up at 09:30, said I knew it was too early to check in, but asked if I could leave my bags.  Five minutes later I was sitting in my room!

Guests also have access to a kitchen where there is free coffee and it seems in season free fruit!

Excellent, free WiFi.  I see that the owners explain that rooms facing the sun have A/C, those shielded, like mine, have a fan.  I am the worst of the worst of the worst heat-suffering Northern European, and I found the room cool and the fan absolutely fine.

Superb accommodation

Rooms Roso offered me the benefit of living in the centre of the Old Town – with the authenticity that brings and everything is within walking distance. The room is perfect for a solo traveler – no frills, no unnecessary nice-to-haves – a room that is functional and clean – and a very friendly and helpful host.

Great price for a central option

This hostal is within the old city walls and therefore very well and very atmospherically located.

The owner is relaxed and friendly and willing to let you make use of the kitchen. The rooms are very basic, simple and old-fashioned - but they are also very clean and everything works. 

While there is absolutely nothing to get excited about here, the price was very attractive and the location is great.

Basic, clean and central

Not the best place I've been to but very good regarding the price and the location (in the heart of Trogier). It is a clean place and the staff is very friendly and helpful. So, I would recommend it. :)

Good price and very well located

The furniture is so so, the mats are so so, but location is top, prices are super affordable and the old couple operating this is like a family :always food on the table, always a glass of water, and the lady even washed my clothes. I tried hard to pay and eneded up paying stg like 1,5 € for her having cleaned, dryed and folded my clothes! A mum ! wifi at the reception.

Old style port shelter

Rooms Roso is located in a stone house in the heart of the charming old town of Trogir, just a few minutes’ walk from the bus station. For the first time it took me a little bit time to find it and there was only a tiny label on the door with the name. There were a few quite steep steps to climb (no elevator). The hostess was very friendly. I arrived quite early, she invited me to have some biscuits, asked me to wait a moment, cleaned the room and after ten minutes I got the key (I had only asked if I could leave the luggage and check in later).

The room was basic but very clean and not too small, and so was also the bathroom. As air condition there was a simple fan, but it was sufficient. There was no breakfast available, but the old town is full of coffee bars and small restaurants. Altogether, really good value for money (I paid 20 € for one night’s stay) in authentic milieu.

Cosy and affordable

Great price for basic room. Had to hold the shower head as it wouldn't fit in holster. Host quite nice but very limited English. Great location but may get kept awake by local restaurants. Also, there is only a small piece of paper on the entrance  door so keep your eyes open for this place.
