A little slice on heaven on the beautiful island of Vis. We stayed for six glorious nights. Villa Vis is tucked away in a quiet courtyard but only a minute’s walk from the bustling bars and restaurants. Tatjana is a fantastic hostess and is always available for a chat and recommendations. All her recommendations were excellent. One night we went to a restaurant she had not recommended and it was the worst meal of our holiday so you have been warned. 
Delicious breakfasts, clean and well designed rooms and a wonderful location.

Lovely B and B with the personal touch.

Really enjoyed the stay at this lovely B&B on the island of Vis. Tatjana was an excellent host and provided delicious breakfasts on our short but memorable 2 night stay. Great location and easy walking distance to all the great restaurants along the water. Tatjana gave us a great recommendation for a beach cover that had the most clear water I’ve ever seen (Silver Beach).

Lovely B&B

This place is fantastic. We actually went in 2019 but are planning a return trip.  Incredibly comfortable with large rooms and great bed & bedding. Great location in Vis right near all of the really good restaurants and shopping.  The owner's hospitality is out of this world. The home made breakfast was different every day and quite possibly the best pancakes I ever had. I will only stay there when I go back to that beautiful island.

Villa Vis and the island of Vis are spectacular.

Amazing experience to stay at Villa Vis. Tatiana really made the stay wonderful, with homemade breakfasts and great suggestions for activities. She even made us sandwiches to bring when we left early in the morning to check out. Great location and clean rooms as well! 10/10 would recommend!

Lovely stay at Villa Vis

Villa Vis is a beautiful little building in a great location. Literally spitting distance from the liveliest bar in town and yet insulated from any noise in it's own quiet little courtyard. Rooms are enormous for a single person, huge for a couple, and reasonably big for a family of 4, which is what we were. The common areas are warm and welcoming and the small number of rooms means they are always clean and open. 

But the REAL star of the stay was Tatiana herself. Everybody loved her. My sons loved her and said she was the best cook in the world (her breakfasts were excellent). They both gave her big hugs and said they'd miss her at the end. My wife loved her because she was a fountain of knowledge on everything from the best restaurants, to the hidden gems of the island, to the ways to organise a last-minute birthday boat trip that was even better than what the companies were offering. She gave me all the information I could ever need on shops, beaches, and entertainment, spoke at least 4 languages and was a constant negotiator, guide, and cultural translator as well as a great host. 

This was our second time in Vis and we've loved both times. The year before we stayed in a much bigger, private Villa that cost a bit more and gave us more room all to ourselves. This year we went for somewhere with less private room both to save a bit and because the boys were older and didn't need as much constant supervision. But we really didn't realise what a wonderful advantage it would be to have someone on site to talk to, get advice from, and ask to speak to other Croatians on our behalf. Also, waking up every day to a wonderful cooked breakfast really sets the tone for any holiday. I'd eagerly go again. 

(PS: We have serious egg and gluten intolerance in our family. We all still got lovely, full cooked breakfasts no problem).

Great place. Amazing host. Just book it.

Don't look further, if you're going to Vis (and you should), stay here.  The rooms are spacious, clean and in a perfect location.  The common area has a lot of soul and the hostess, Tatjana will make you feel at home and give you all the insider tips for your stay.  Uzivaj!

A little place with a lot of soul where you'll feel like a local

We had a great 3 night stay at Villa Vis, although could have easily stayed for much longer. We were in room 1 which had its own entrance so we could come and go as we pleased. The room was spacious, comfortable, spotlessly tidy and had no distractions such as TV to take away from getting out and about. The air conditioning was great and definitely required during our stay 

Breakfast was amazing and each morning we were treated to Tatiana's delights with no breakfast ever the same no matter how long you intent on staying.

The location is incredible, just off the main square in the Kut area of Vis, a 10 meter walk gets you to the bars and restaurants but is far enough away if an early night is needed. 

I cant recommend Villa Vis highly enough and cant wait to get the opportunity to return. I would also recommend getting Tatiana to organise a taxi on arrival if you have suitcases.

Perfect host, rooms & location

We had a great 3 night stay at Villa Vis. The room was comfortable and had excellent air conditioning. Only problem is if you have a large suitcase. Because there is a spiral staircase that you have to go up to either the first or second floor. Breakfast was excellent and our host gave great recommendations. I would return again.

A slice of charm

We were 2 couples in our 60’s and stayed at Villa Vis for 3 wonderful nights.  Tatiana is just amazing recommending restaurants and helping us to organize a private boat tour for the day.  The breakfasts were wonderful.  I am still dreaming about the crepes.  The hotel is a short  beautiful 15-20 min walk from ferry all along the water. It was wonderful to be slightly out of the main part of Vis. The hotel does have a spiral staircase to rooms so this could pose a problem for some. The rooms are comfortable and roomy. We also rented scooters at Tatiana’s suggestion and rode to a fishing town and then off to the golden or diamond beach where we had a great day eating at the small beachfront restaurant and hanging out in the water and were able to rent chairs and umbrellas.  Villa Vis and Vis are musts on a visit to Croatia. 

Amazing small hotel in Vis

Perfect location, clean, and quiet. Very chilled out. Tatiana was a wonderful host. Great homemade breakfast, spot on recommendations, and good conversation. Our two days here in Vis were our favorite part of the trip.
