We rented 2 rooms at wonderful Two Palms Villa and staid for one week. Both rooms were super clean and quiet. One room had big balcony with sea view. Second one had a big terrace with access to the garden. Villa is conveniently located 5 min walking from the beach and harbor. Free WIFI and free Parking!

The whole stay we felt warm honest attention  - Katijas family was always leaving for us delicious homemade goodies at the kitchen table, we were asked to feel free to take lemons or other fruits from the garden. 

Since my father had problems with climbing stairs, we contacted Two Palms Villa before booking to clarify logistics and rooms allocation. All our questions were answered immediately giving us complete overview. Just to tell you how much Two Palms Villa cares about their customers - Katija even counted stairs (we didn't ask for it, this was high level customer care) to make sure that my father feels comfortable. 

At the day we were leaving we were really touched with unexpected surprise  - as a memory Katija gave us presents to take home: perfect home made wine, orange peel in sugar and small lavender pillows. Thank you, Katija, so much for all your attention, great care and warm wonderful memory!

We felt like at HOME! Customer care at the highest level!


The room was very spacious, spotless with a balcony, very confortable bed and pillows. The property also has a very spacious well equipped kitchen for all the guest where you can prepare your breakfast and meals. There is also a very beautiful garden and terrace overlooking the kitchen with lounge chairs where you can rest in the evening with a drink. The owner of the property Katjia and her husband where very welcoming and helpful with any queries we had. Two Palms Villa is 10 minutes walk to the main beach in Zaton and very close to all the amenities. Bus are running regurarly to Dubrovink and only takes 15/20 minutes drive to the old town. We spent 2 weeks here and we loved the accomodation and location of Two Palms Villa. This is a perfect please where you can fully relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The only noise you will hear are cicadas singing from sunrise to sunset. We will definately come back here one day and would higly reccomend this place to anyone who looks for a relaxing holiday and a home feel! This is the perfect place

Beautiful Two Palms Villa

We stayed four night at Two Palms villa.
We arrived with a car to Veliki Zaton (15 minutes from Dubrovnik) and the owners son came to the village center and showed us the way to the villa. 
Parking was waiting for us..free of charge (which is luxury these days if you stay in Croatia/Adriatic sea).

We were welcomed by the family in theirs garden and the landlady showed us the rum.
Very nice (clean and fresh-no tobacco smell) room with comfortable bad, bathroom and balcony towards garden/sea view. Room has air condition that worked perfectly. 
We were only guests at the time, next one arrived the morning we were leaving, so we had kitchen, with everything you need, just for our selves.
We enjoyed in a breakfast in the garden. 

Fact that we saw landlady (very nice person as the rest of the family) three times, at arrival. departure, and when we needed extra pillows, was perfect..

3 minutes distance to the beach, restaurants and local grocery-newspapers shop.
The village has post and bank machine.

We were very satisfied and would defiantly recommend it to others.

Perfect rum/house and village for a vacation.

This guest house was quite tricky to find because I relied on Google Maps rather than using the address.  I arrived by bus from Dubrovnik and it is only a few minutes’ walk from the bus stop on the main road. The house is at the top of a short hill, it's fewer than five minutes' walk down to the gorgeous bay. Another review mentions that the owner was not available.  It is true that I was left to my own devices but I liked that. My room was cleaned each day and the kitchen was explained to me on arrival.  There are cooking facilities and two large fridges.  Hot beverages and condiments were complimentary, this included a coffee-making machine. There is ample seating inside and outside and I rarely encountered other guests in the kitchen, although the establishment was full.  It is true there is no TV in the room but I guess that most visitors to this tranquil spot will be there to get away from such things.  The room was basic but clean with highly effective air conditioning. The walls were very thin but this was still a quiet stay. There was a table and chairs on my patio and a clothes horse for drying my swimming costume each day. The wi-fi was surprisingly reliable with a couple of glitches. The owner very kindly gave me a lift to the bus stop on the morning of my departure. I loved Zaton. It was like having a very large swimming pool on my doorstep.  Two Palms does not offer 5* luxury living but it does offer all that it describes. It is good value but not a place to stay if you want "life" and action. This was a most welcome tranquil retreat. Short walk to the beach, quiet retreat with excellent self-catering facilities.

Unless you travel with a car, this place is located in a very inconvenient, not overly attractive area. The room we stayed in was very basic, tiny, dark, and had a strong cigarette smell. There was not even a TV.. It was pretty depressing. We saw the owner for a few minutes when we arrived and that was it. Couldn't find anyone to ask questions. Won't go back.
