I was quite surprised about how good the value was here of this hostel. I stayed for 2 days and paid €8,-/day for a 4p bed dorm with lockers.
The hostel is centrally located and operated by a reception 100m away. It's the vibrant part of town with a nice coffee bar downstairs which is run by funny guy with a hat. It's about a 3 minute walk from the city gate. Parking you can do outside the citadel for 4 kuna per hour between 08:00 - 16:00, in the evening the parking is free. Really watch the times because they are tow-happy here.
Inside the hostel I liked there was an equiped kitchen for cooking, a nice common area to meet people in the dining room with a nice balcony. The beds are quite good.
In short, very good value for your money and a nice place to meet fellow travelers. Really recommend it.

Good Value

Great hostel. Amazing location in the centre of old town. Pretty much 0km from everything. The tour excursion booth is literally next door (and the guy here is incredibly helpful - he even lent us GoPros for free!) and so are several cafes. Good rooms. Cheap. Do it

So central!

This is my first trip to Zadar, and I obviously choose the right place for spending the night. This is a good place for a hostel, it has a good location, near the city. The room in which I was in was quite big, and for a cheap price. When I came inside, everything was clean, but there were some minor issues with the air conditioner, but everything was fixed later on.

Great for a hostel

Top notch hostel. Very cleaned. Enough bathrooms. Super location. Very helpful and friendly workers. Stayed 1 week because I liked the city and the hostel very much. Got to meet fellow travellers in the kitchen and in the city.

Top notch hostel

I spent two nights here and although it is about 15 mins walking distance from the bus stop it was right in the center of the old town. Very close to restaurants, shops, the waterfront and the bars. The staff were friendly and the rooms were nice with a clean ensuite bathroom. The downside to this hostel was the stairs. Unfortunately I was on the very top floor and that meant walking with my bag all the way up the stairs.
