On first arrival we were met by Marija who showed us the apartment, this was really straight forward and took a matter of minutes. 
Once inside we could not believe the sheer size of the apartment... was huge!
(Definitely a luxury stay on a budget price)

We loved staying here and absolutely will stay again and I am going to recommend to all my friends and family.

To start with, the apartment was beautiful, bright and a super clean super sized bed which was so comfy allowing me to really stretch out and also plenty of spare pillows and a really snug duvet. There was also a decent equiped kitchen, with the essentials to cater for any culinary dish.
The TV (smart)  was really good with plenty of apps available and also the free WiFi which was really handy.
The shower was a good size and water pressure was just right.
There was a really good air-con unit which was pretty straight forward to use.
The windows opened easily and had really good shutters which were easily controlled to adjust how much light you wanted into the apartment.

The location of the place is also great, a few short steps and you're amongst all the beautiful streets filled with restaurants and bars.

I would like to say a massive thank you to Marija  & Andrej, and the other staff for making our stay in Zadar really special and we can't thank you enough for what was an amazing break, hopefully we will be back soon.

To my honest review of Apartments 72 I found cleanliness & hospitality that is rarely found, professional & friendly.

Highly recommend, the perfect home….away from home!

The accommodation was perfect! The bed slept great and everything was there. Of course you can hear the music from outside; what do you expect in the middle of the city centre!? Quick to solve: party yourself. Downstairs at the bar at Andrej's you will have a nice and pleasant evening. We recommend the maraska cherry liker! Or ask Andrej for advice. He knows everything! He was so kind and during our stay he helped us with everything. From trips, till restaurants and many more!!

10/10 Best stay in Zadar you will find

When we arrived, Maria showed us where to park for free and around the apartment, then invited us down to the family owned bar for a drink and a welcome chat, where we were recommended some great restaurants and local attractions to visit. The apartment was spacious and clean in an excellent location

Excellent hosts and a great location

When we arrived we were given such a thorough and informative welcome! The apartment was clean and spacious, exactly what we needed. We slept so well as the windows were triple glazed and blocked the street noise really well!
The location is great as it is pretty central to all the main sites and the area comes alive at night with restaurants and bars.
We had such a good time here, I would highly recommend staying with Apartment 72!

Great Location for all of Zadar!

We are currently on a trip around Europe and chose Zadar as a stop-off between Split and Ljubljana. With expectations fairly low, we were pleasantly surprised straight away with how efficient and nice Andrej was who greeted us walking down the street ( after he agreed we could check in 2 hours earlier than the time) and then received a drink whilst he annotated a map on the best places to go in the town. Great host! The room itself was very clean and although a tad small, had everything essential for a weekend stay with great access to the main town area. The rooms are great value for money and I would definitely stay there again.

A great destination for travellers

Stayed for 4 nights at the end of April with my mum. I could tell Andrej was going to be fantastic host from the initial contact before we arrived to arrange our airport transfer and he spent time with us when we arrived telling us about the must see in the area. Andrej also owns the bar downstairs and was very generous giving us free drinks on arrival and departure which was a nice touch. Nothing was too much trouble and he often asked how our holiday was going and if there was anything he could do to help when we passed the bar each the day. 

We stayed in the studio apartment which was spotlessly clean, modern and equipped with everything you need. The pictures don't do it justice. Only issue some may have is the bathroom is very small but this wasn't a problem for us. We didn't experience any issues with noise from the surrounding bars as mentioned in previous reviews.

Everything in the old town is within walking distance and there are lots of bars and restaurants to choose from. We also visited the town of Nin which is a 30 minutes bus ride away and enjoyed the beach here. I was really surprised by what Zadar had to offer and would definitely recommend it for a few days or to include when visiting several places in Croatia. 

You won't find a better host! 

Studio apartment was clean and spacious and in a perfect location. Our host Andrej went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed helped us with recommendations of things to see and do and very kindly gave us drinks on our arrival and before our departure. The town itself is charming we also visited the national park and the small village of Nin. Local restaurants and bars were excellent value and everyone was really friendly. I would highly recommend a visit to Zadar and a stay in these lovely apartments

A must visit

The hosts were both very knowledgeable on the city and helpful and this made our stay extremely enjoyable. They also arranged transfers to and from the airport which was a bonus. The hosts Maria and Andre own a bar below the apartment and we were  invite down for a chat and a drink after we arrived and settled in. Maria gave us a detailed welcoming chat about the  city and gave us a map, marking out the places of interest to visit and included the good restaurants, bars and nightclubs, the beaches, shopping centres, markets, supermarkets etc, She also told us about the taxis and the costs and the local bus services. Their bar is open all day and the staff are on hand to help if required or if we needed anything. We had the apartment on the 3 floor and easy access to the roof terrace where we had a few midnight drinks. The Apartment is clean and modernly decorated throughout and is in a great location in the city. Although the apartment is located in the busy part of town for the nightlife and surrounded by bars,  the triple glazing shuts out the noise very well.  The beds were comfortable and the rooms are spacious. The bathroom is a bit small but that is not a problem. I would definitely stay here again. Good hospitality was received from both hosts. Very highly recommended .
