Extremely helpful host. The apartment has everything you need. Comfortable beds. Shower. Washing machine facilities. Comfortable beds. Kitchen very well equipped. Balcony at back and front. Spacious. Clean. Hair dryer. 25 mins walk from old town, 15 mins walk from marina area. Good value.

Fantastic stay

We stayed at a 2 bedroom apartment for 6 nights and it was really comfortable. We had 3 balconies, the store was close, the beach was close as well, and the hostess was really helpful & kind she told us about the best sights and places in Zadar. 

Nice apartment 

After traveling around Europe for a number of weeks, a friend and I stayed in Villa Dalmatia. When we arrived the apartment was open and ready for us. Extremely clean and spacious, we throughly enjoyed our stay. Marin was of great help. She came to meet us, gave us tips and an overview of things to do in Zadar. Only 7 minute was from the beach and 25 minutes roughly to the town, the location is ideal. A number of restaurants are on the same road as the apartments themselves, which were extremely handy. Our flight home was in the evening, and it was no problem for us to have a later check out at 12 o'clock, which we greatly appreciated! The area was lovely and the locals were helpful too.

Stayed here with two kids and wife in early April 2017. This is the best apartment I have ever stayed in. Very very clean, modern. Trust me when I say I am Mr OCD on cleanliness.
Location is ideal for Zadar, close to bus routes, food over the road, even though I had a car. 
From the original booking until leaving communication was great with the owners and sisters who run this Villa. Nothing is ever to much trouble for them.
If you want clean and safe holidaying with the benefit of self catering look no further.
I felt compelled to right this review as when booking, there are many reviews on booking.com but on here they are so old. Don't let this put you off.
Location good, rates good, response to queries quick.
I am no way linked with the owners just would like others to benefit from the wonderful time I had in Zadar, all started with a great base to stay.

Excellent, home from home

I was about to write a review and then read the below review from 'Tourist75' - completely agree with everything they have said! Do read that view as it is accurately describes our experience too. 

In terms of location it's a longer walk to the Old Town, but a taxi back in the evenings is really cheap and you can get a short bus/train ride. We actually enjoyed walking to the Old Town as it was nice to get a bit of exercise! The beach is very close and I would also recommend paying to go on the Falkensteiner beach as it's definitely worth it. 

The market is opposite the apartment and the larger Konzum market is nearby (take a left out of the aprtment and then left at the traffic lights) There are some great restaurants nearby (Roko is excellent for a slightly more expensive meal, Mamma Mia is good for a relaxed meal)

The service from the sisters who run this apartment is definitely worth a mention - Zdravka organised our transfers and they were really helpful.  

We loved our stay at Villa Dalmatia and we would definitely come here again, however we would get the apartment on the middle/top floor as we had to deal with a lot of noise from upstairs. (however this is a minor issue in the grand scheme of things)

Great apartment for a beach holiday near Zadar

The apartment was basic, quite big with a full kitchen with dining table and chairs, one bed room, bath room (lots of towels) and a living room with a sofa bed. Well-working air condition. There is some noise from the surrounding apartment (we were on the first floor). Quiet in the night.
There is a market for food shopping just a minute walk and restaurants near by. It's about a 10 minute walk to the sandy beach of the Falkensteiner resort (cost about 25 kuna per adult I think it was) which was worth it when ravelling with small children.
If you want to walk to the old town, it's about one hour (nice walk though). Or you can take the small city "train" which runs back and forth every half hour.
I have to mention the excellent service from the ladies running the villa (can't remember the name). Very nice, service minded, nothing a problem. You can be picked up and drove to the airport against a small fee, can also provide a car seat if you're travelling with a child.
