The apartment is really super nice, small cool beach 8 minutes walk. 2 grocery stores 30 minutes and the other 5 minutes also with ATM. The owners are very very very smiling and warm. The apartment was great, very functional and spacious. Bus to Dubrovnik city centre 5 minutes away.

Great holidays.

We stayed in one of the apartments in the villa for three nights.The apartment did not have the toilet, photos, pool service.According to us, it could only be used by those staying in the adjacent house.The accommodation is on the side of the road that a Split with Dubrovnik, one of the busiest in Croatia and a danger to children.During the night the feeling was to sleep in a road motel due to the constant noise of traffic.We were informed that there was a beach just 100 meters away and it was a port.A disappointment.

We arrived to a lovely welcome and showed around our spotlessly clean accommodation for our week’s holiday in Croatia. 

We booked the one bedroom apartment even though there was only two of us because we wanted the balcony. There was more than enough space for the two of us. A spacious living room / kitchen, separate bedroom with king size bed, plenty of storage and a bathroom with half shower. (The shower is half way down the wall so you can’t stand under it which took a bit of getting used to but ok once you get the hang of it ). 

The best thing about this apartment is the stunningly beautiful view across the bay. I could never tire of looking at it. 

The owners were very helpful and good hosts. They sorted out any issues quickly with no fuss and kept up supplied with fresh towels throughout the week. 

The apartments are in Zaton Mali which is a 15 minute bus ride into Croatia. The bus stop is a 2 minute walk and the buses come every hour and cost a couple of pounds. 

If you visit outside the season, it can be a bit quiet. We were there at the beginning of April and there was only one restaurant open. You will be spoilt for choice for grocery shops though, with one just downstairs and another 100 meters away. 

There are 3 flights of stairs to the apartment so heads up if you have mobility issues. 

I would love to go back and would definitely rent this apartment again.

Lovely apartment with a stunning view

First of all, two words to thank our hostess Irena for welcoming us very warmly and giving us very good advice on how to make our stay a success, in an English worthy of Oxford. The villa is spacious, very comfortable, well equipped, modern in style, meticulously clean and the wifi is working perfectly. We also enjoy a beautiful private pool, a jacuzzi, an outdoor kitchen and a barbecue, nothing less than that. The proximity of two food shops, cash dispensers and restaurants not far away are additional assets. Go there with your eyes closed, you will be in your stay.

Beautiful location on Zaton Bay

We were recommended Villa Moretic by our host at Capitano Blue. We were picked up at the Villa by our great hosts and were invited first to taste Villa Moretics great ham and cheese. Then we had probably the best food i think i have ever had. The potatoes are to die for. Very friendly hosts and great place where virtually everything is homegrown. Highly recommended.

Great food and amazing hosts!

We spent a week in this villa with 8 people. We had a remarkable reception, with fresh and appetizing drinks. In the evening the owner was kind enough to offer us different excursions with private driver at a lower cost, which was very helpful. She even brought us homemade products (wine, liqueur, ham, cheese and apple dessert) excellent! The villa was very clean, as well as the outdoor kitchen, spa and swimming pool. The long chairs are very comfortable and beach linens are set up, which is very convenient. The rooms are modern and comfortable with lighting. The seaside is within walking distance, and a little further away there are beaches. The villa is conveniently located, away from a few small restaurants and tourist shops.

Staying in a perfect villa

New and clean, very nice family-owned apartment, facing the sea, and well connected to the city centre. Nearby there are two supermarkets, bars and restaurants.

Holidays

We have stayed at the villa for a week with my parents, and my brother's family. Everyone is very hospitable. The villa has everything you need from dishes to beach towels. We did lot of driving around so nightly jacuzzi steaming was a perfection after tiring day of walking and exploring. We shopped in neighborhood markets every day for fresh bakery and goodies. Irena even made us crepes one evening. Boys inhaled them in a manner of minutes-delicious. We went fishing and very lucky enough to score 3 large bonito tunas. The bbq outside was more than perfect for the catch preparation. 

Everything you need

We spent 4 days in Villa Moretic with some friends. The villa is great, really clean and we hired Martin to drive us around (speaks perfect English and really flexible). A massive thank you to Irena and Pero who have been amazing with us, always here when you need something. I would highly recommend the villa and we will definitely stay there again if going back to Dubrovnik. Thank you !!!!

Amazing villa and amazing hosts!

We stayed at the Villa Moretic the week before Easter 2014 for a family gathering of 6 adults and 4 kids. Although the villa would have been able to accomodate the whole group we also hired an additional apartment next door at Moretic apartments-they are run by different members of the family and me and my husband wanted to have a bit of privacy. Both properties were very clean and equpped with everything we needed, but bring a laptop or DVd player if you want to watch telly as most of the channels are foreign.
The weather was unusually cold for this time of the year, but we still swam in the crystal clear waters using full wet suits- it was cold but also very refreshing.
We warmed up in the beautiful jacuzzi afterwards which is next to the outdoor kitchen which we used a lot for cooking.
The nearby Radisson hotel does day tickets for the indoor pool and sauna/spa area which was very nice. I also had a great massage there which was worth every kuna.
Don't bother going to the nearby Babylon rstaurant, the service was terrible and the food cold and inedible.
The restaurant Kasar which is a 20 minute walk away along the coast was excellent, you dine in an old pirate cove next to a fireplace and for the summer there is a georgeous terrace.
We took a boat trip to the 3 surrounding islands which was one of the best excursions ever! We had the boat to ourselves as it was out of season and Patrick the captain was good fun, he gave us lots of historical facts and even let the kids have a go at the wheel!
Irina and Pero were excellent hosts and helped with absolutely everything.
We organized transfers from the airport in advance with them and everything went smootly-we started to relax from the moment we arrived.
Despite the colder weather it was great to be there before the main season as it was peaceful and quiet.
I would highly recommend this place!
