Great facilities in the centre, excellent service, good food, comfortable and clean rooms.Thanks the girls at the reception are very kind, everyone is very attentive.

Hotel plaza is a place to visit.

It's a small hotel (only two stars) but I was impressed by the condition of the building and its rooms. The best thing about the hotel: its workers, especially the restaurant staff. The worst thing: it doesn't have an elevator and the floors are high and narrow stairs, like every good hotel of the early 20th century. I recommend spending at least one night at its bar, good atmosphere and excellent drinks.

Holidays for three nights

Despite the hotel's MALO rating, the rooms, which are very spacious by the way, have been improved. Everything is clean and painted. In all areas I have been treated with extreme courtesy. The variety of dishes in the restaurant is not much, but the cuisine is very good and the location of the hotel seems perfect to me.

Realize a reservation in the hotel,From May 13th to May 18th.For reasons of confinement, Viaje de España and I were sold this accommodation as a Hotel de 4 Estrella.It is a shame,to be sold to people selling this category of hotel and who do not even meet the minimum conditions.The room that I was assigned was FUE 201,tenia balcony,the door could be,comida de comen,the door to the bathroom has the ruined slate,the rough lava,from under the dirty bed,I am not moving the beds to clean,they are super clean,they are deep limestone,they have a tapestry that has a vacuum cleaner and a bacterial receptor,they do not comply with the Covial-19 measures,the air conditioning system is inadequate,they must be cleaned,they are not moving the beds to clean,they do not have a vacuum cleaner,they do not have a vacuum cleaner,they do not have a vacuum cleaner,they do not have a vacuum cleaner,

I stayed for only one night in this very nice city. The staff were very kind and I saw that the hotel is undergoing many changes for renovation work. My room was very large but still to be renovated so uncomfortable. Not properly cleaned and very uncomfortable to reach since it was necessary to make two stairs and the elevator was broken. Breakfast is poor and not tasty. For now I do not recommend this structure.

Since one gets the attention is pesimistic, the elevator doesn't work, the rooms are decorated that scare you not to stay, the bathroom is uncomfortable, the restaurant service is pesimistic, there is no variety and the treatment is very bad, there would be no repetition of the times, I hope it improves very soon, because otherwise it will be empty.

Not the worst nor the best place we stayed while on tour in Cuba.  The elevator was broken (never found one on the entire tour that worked) so the room on the top floor was a hike.  The hotel has definitely been neglected but at least the room was clean, there was hot water in the shower and there was a seat on the toilet!  Our room was huge with two beds, a writing desk, a fridge (which may not have worked).  There is a window overlooking the square that is covered by just a set of shutters, so the bustle of outside could keep you up but one of our party had a room directly over the bar and the exhaust fan was deafening!

Each room had a "theme decor"-- ours was the Cuban poet Luis Suardiaz...his writing table, typewriter and  a few of his books were on display...a nice little touch. 

The location would be good for a walking tour of the town -  there some interesting areas around the hotel to walk...just take care to mind your location -- the streets seem to wind and end abruptly and the  road in front of the hotel along the rail tracks was totally torn up and dangerous. 

For one night on a guided tour it was fine.  If I had a choice I'd try for a "casa Particular".

Average, for Cuba

Once the main railway hotel, the Plaza has definitely seen better days and is in need of serious investment which is unlikley to happen in the near future. The bar was closed, the lift out of order and the dining room dark and dingy. The buffet breakfast was reasonable. The room itself was clean but I found the bed incredibly hard ( my husband did not mind it however). The shower was scarcely more than a trickle and the water never got above luke warm. The road outside is being dug up so access is difficult. The main problem ffrom my poin of view, however, was that we were there on a Saturday night when the nearby pedestrainised precinct becomes a giant party. The noise from this and the trains  meant a  very pooor nights sleep. That said none of the hotels in Camaguey are brilliant and for one night it is cheap and functional but if staying longer then it may be better to seek out a casa

INDECENCE! Since I have to go into more detail, I will add: outside and far from the center, the entrance is in a dark and smelly alleyway, I even risked kicking a topon on the road! It's attached to the train station and buses, so there's squatting, screaming, clacsons and x-trains whistling all night long, it's impossible to sleep. Dirty rooms, old furniture, painful bathrooms.

Just one word:

It's the third time I've visited it. It's only better because the noisy windows have been replaced by Splits. The cost is 72.00 cuc per double-plan room CP. The old, unpainted and maltreated furniture. The walls are crushed by the humidity. The laundry room is falling down and on the side, the equipment is oxidized. The invented rate is discharged. The doors are in poor condition, painted only on the outside. False roofs full of hollows. It's almost impossible to sleep with the noise of the trains. The machinists are screaming and their sirens and I'm sure they'll violate all the rules and unnecessarily. At last a personal disaster. A personal disaster. A disaster expensive. It was very lovely.
