My wife and I had lunch at that restaurant and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised at the excellent food and service we experienced. 
Having eaten st a resort at Santa Maria, the food at El Palmar was far superior. 
The service was also superior to that which we saw ay the hotel.
I highly recommend that establishment either for a short stay or a sumptuous meal.

Excellent Food, Excellent Service

The hotel and the room were beautiful and relaxing. The staff and waiters were friendly, prompt, professional, and attentive. Yanet and Yaumara made the experience much more enjoyable with all their efforts. The food had large portions and was great. It was a good atmosphere to dine. The pool had music playing and was a great size for many guests. The room was perfect for a romantic setting for any couple in separate houses. Would definitely go back again.

Romantic Getaway 

I stayed at the hotel when I arrived in my country to fulfill a period of isolation due to COVID. The very comfortable room, Wi-Fi, the quality of the food excellent and the very friendly treatment of all the hotel workers. A very nice and cozy place !!! I would like to return and enjoy my vacations here !!!

An ideal place for rest and relaxation.

Hotel rooms are comfortable, clean and offer all you need during your stay. I stayed in a terraced flat and it was excellent, very spacious and bright. Also, I had no problem with power sockets, which is no standard in the country Excellent staff and food (for both breakfast and dinner). This is a very nice countryside spot which I would definitely choose again and recommend.

The ideal place to be when in Santa Clara

We spent a perfect day here by the pool after becoming a little tired of santa clara. It was the best decision. We had been to a resort that was pricey and 4+ stars yet the service at La Granjita topped it. The waiters were so so attentive but not pushy, and the drinks and food were very reasonably priced. There was plenty of shade and chairs. They played a lot of good Cuban music and other Latin American music to make the pool feel more lively. Personally don't understand coming to Cuba to hear American music like a lot of places have. If we are near santa clara again we will definitely be visiting here.

Day pass visit 

While staying in Santa Clara we spent the day with family at La Granjita. We swam, ate and drank all day. Staff attended to us. For a small price you get entry into the pool, and money to put toward food and refreshments all while spending the day at the pool relaxing, enjoying music and the company of family.

A day in the countryside

I was only here for a lunch stop during a bus tour of the region, but it was a very welcome break from the food and atmosphere of our resort and the feel of the cities. Very friendly service and great food. I loved the atmosphere and would consider staying overnight here on a future visit to the country. Beautiful gardens.

Good lunch

I revisit the place after comments the management had changed. I was impressed with the change I noticed. Although the variety of food issue remains, I can happily say its quality has improved noticeably. They are focusing on more traditional Cuban dishes like bean soup, boiled cassava, congri rice, pork dishes, etc. which have an over average quality. Personnel remains friendly and very professional. Service overall is very good. Still, the rooms remain pricey but there are economic options you can book in the city tourism bureaus. The environment is quiet, excellent for families. The place is beautiful, full of multicolored buildings amid the tropical nature.

Very pleasant change since my last visit...from Poor to Very Good

Great location. Nice size rooms. Clean with good air con and fridge, iron and ironing broad.
shame about the restaurant food !!!! Dinner was just ok, we thought But within a few hours my husband had a very bad stomach for 24 hours. I went to breakfast with my friends. It wasn't worth getting up for. Everything was dried up and left overs from the night before. (Bruessels left from the night before.... bruessels for breakfast !!

Great quiet location

Dirty rooms and terrible breakfast. the one that sells in the unprofessional store.  nobody greets and everything expensive there.  nor do I advise anyone to stay there.  Very bad looking rooms and poor security in them.
