Had a great stay in Cuba at Playa Vista Azul. Can’t wait to go back as soon as I can. The beaches are great and the food is good for Cuba. However, the hotel staff really make the experiences. The bartenders, cleaning staff and especially the entertainment team are all incredible. Shoutout to Gustavo and the whole team for a great time, especially New Year’s Eve!

Fun in Cuba

I was a few days ago at this beautiful resort and it was memorable days, and I fell in love with the beautiful beach of Varadero and its views, it should be mentioned that my wife and I enjoyed the good treatment of all the staff at the facility, highlighting the service of our room maid Amy amable y edu. And praise him for the work of the PR guys.

THE HOTEL IS OK ,POOLS ARE GOOD , WE CHANGED ROOMS BECAUSE THE CLEANER WAS SO BAD THE ROOM WAS NOT CLEAN SHE THOUGHT IT WAS OK FOR US TO SHARE ONE TOWEL NO REPLENISHMENT OF SHOWER GEL I ALSO HAD TO ASK HER TO CHANGE THE SHEETS. I CALLED AT CUSTOMER SERVICES TO EXPLAIN THE SITUATION THEY ARE REALLY GOOD MADE SURE WE CHANGED ROOMS IMMEDIATELY. THE FOOD IS AWFUL THEY DON’T CATER FOR BRITS. EGG STATION OK BUT YOU HAVE TO QUE FOR AT LEAST 10 MINUTES FOR A FRIED EGG,OMELETTE, SCRAMBLED EGGS OR PANCAKES . BAR STAFF ARE GOOD .

Not a great holiday .

The most beautiful views, the most friendly staff. An incredible attention. Both for me and for the little one. Beautiful views, incredible and impeccable swimming pools, dream room, beautiful beaches, spacious areas. The cleanliness, the kindness of the facilities and above all the views make this hotel the perfect place. The animation and activities, the lobby café, and the professionalism of its staff give a magical touch.

Paradise on the Blue Beach, a nightmare resort.

Overall experience was 10/10

We arrived late in the evening and it’s understandable that there is less staff, however a quick explanation of where to go eat or the location of our rooms could’ve been better! They give you a map and you deal with it. Not sure if it’s because we arrived the week after Christmas (one of the busiest weeks of the year), but staff at the bars / front desk looked tired and didn’t look like they cared much. 

Some people in our group said their king size bed was really uncomfortable, but I can’t say anything about the double beds as I slept like a baby lol. Pillows were really soft tho. 

If you’re not in a premium room, you can’t book any à la carte restaurants - which is not the best with kids or a big group. We didn’t eat together most of the times except at the buffet. Italian (10/10), Caribbean (10/10), Pool Snack Bar (7/10), Beach Snack Bar (10/10). 

The Sunwing agent at this location is a solid 20/10. Couldn’t have asked for better explanations/details about the possible excursions or what to do around the hotel. 

Left beach was okay, the bar is really close which is nice but it can get crowded quickly as it’s smaller. Right beach was the best, there is entertainment in the morning and staff will bring your chairs where you want them. Like they say “In Cuba, don’t be lazy - be crazy!” and I swear they will make you want to dance or play volleyball with them - they are super nice!

Cleaning/Maintenance Staff 10/10

There are a few things we have realized that could be improved:
•Toilet seats are really not stable or just missing in some public bathrooms.
•Wooden Doors in the room are really hard to open (safe box, bathroom)
•Decoration pillows in the bedroom were really dirty
•Food intoxication at the buffet happened to so many tourists while we were here - not sure if it’s reheated from the day before but it’s not nice to see everyone get sick all at once because they ate there. 
•The map of the resort could be improved with the restaurants opening time; where is the breakfast; what’s open for lunch time and what isn’t. 
•No outlets in some of the bathrooms and if you have one in your room, whatever you plug in it might just blow in your hands even if you use an adapter…
•They will not change your towels when they clean your room; you have to wait for the cleaning person and let them know you want new ones.
•The internet connection was available almost everywhere on the resort but it’s hard to get on it - when you do, as soon as you close your phone it disconnects and again you have to play in your settings for a good minute or two.

A very cozy place with a beautiful view of the sea, everything very well situated charms me that hotel, talking a little about surprising things the beautiful animation team there, I had a wonderful time with those exceptional guys 5 points for animation as far as the buffet and the perfect restaurants are concerned.

The animation guys, I had a super super super good time with them.

That hotel is definitely one of the best I've ever met, everything was in excellent condition, and I especially loved the cheerful, charismatic, energetic and sociable animation kids.

I had a great time with the great and united animation team I'd like to congratulate everyone who worked with me in Canada.

C'etait notre deuxieme fois au playa vista azul section privilege. Que dire de plus que ce fut extraordinaire. La manager Arasay coffi nous a tout organiser et nous avons été traiter comme des rois. Nous avons fait la rencontre de personnes exceptionnelle et avons partager de beaux et bons moments avec eux. Notre femme de chambre Taimara a fait un travail magnifique. Le staff au restaurent a la carte Coral *dream team* Magdenis, doxana, Katy, Daylen sont incomparable. 
Nos majordome Rene, Jose, Diane, Yuri etc. veillaient a tout les jours que nous ayons tout ce que nous avions besoin. Merci a Yanelys et sulena au spa pour la pedicure de mon mari qui lui a fait de beaux pieds tout neufs. 
La nourriture était tres bonne(langouste, crevettes, saumon, steak, poulet, porc)
et nous n'avons pas manque de vin ni de champagne😉🍾.
Merci a nos barman Carlos, Raymel, Onay, Antonio, Jimmy et Randy qui connaissent parfaitement nos préférences.
Bref nous avons eu de magnifiques vacances reposantes.

This was our second time at playa vista azul privilege section. What more can I say than it was extraordinary. The manager Arasay Coffi organized everything for us and we were treated like kings. We met exceptional people and shared beautiful and good times with them. Our maid Taimara did a magnificent job. The staff at the Coral a la carte restaurant *dream team* Magdenis, Doxana, Katy, Daylen are incomparable.
Our butlers Rene, Jose, Diane, Yuri etc. made sure we had everything we needed every day. Thanks to Yanelys and Sulena at the spa for my husband's pedicure which gave him beautiful, brand new feet.
The food was very good (lobster, shrimp, salmon, steak, chicken, pork)
and we have no shortage of wine or champagne😉🍾.
Thanks to our bartenders Carlos, Raymel, Onay, Antonio, Jimmy and Randy who know our preferences perfectly.
In short, we had a wonderful, relaxing vacation....

Un coin de paradis, traitement royal.

Let's start with mensa: - the first day was traumatic.... along with the sparrows and merls that come in and nest in the capedine of the ceiling and make the cow everywhere (so you can't take a second away from the table and you find the birds eating your food) there are beautiful family of blatts walking around the room... I don't even want to imagine the kitchen... the cooks that cook those few things fresh have no training from the point of view of hygiene. The ready dishes on display are of low quality and almost inedible, among other things all the labels that should present the iron bars are illegible.
