First, the reviews here of the "cottage" are not this property, and the main picture on this listing is not this property. This is a small, 8 apartment complex, about a 10 minute walk to downtown Otrobanda. It is located on a fairly quiet residential street. The apartments are adjacent to a major road, but it was not noisy, aside from some roosters and a dog. You have to cross the main road to get downtown, but there is a crosswalk with a pedestrian light. The apartment is very secure, with an electronic gate.

 It is fully furnished, with a well appointed kitchen. The cooking surface is an electric cooktop, and there is no microwave or coffee maker. There is a full size fridge. The furnishings are basic, dining table with chairs, bed and a nice, modern TV. 

The "electrical deathtrap" one of the other reviewers mentioned is a step down power transformer, used to stabilize the current and bring it down from 220 to 110. 

The management staff is on site daily, and extremely kind and helpful. Most of the neighbors were medical students, and it was rarely loud.

Internet was good, and stable enough for Skype calls.

It is a budget accommodation, but very clean and well maintained, and in a perfect location for exploring downtown without a car. If you want to visit the beaches, you will need a car.

Overall, I would absolutely stay here again. 

Some reviews are of a different property

It is located only 10 minutes walk toward Otrabanda, up and down. You could use different way to go to the city, such as direction toward the cruise ship harbour.
The appartement has compleet amenities inside and very clean. The employee speak good Dutch and English and they office is upstair.
We sent them request to be pick up at the airport and we got the answer almost direct.
They will pick us up but we have to pay for some amount of money. It is fair and clear answer and we were happy even with the friendly chaffeur who has waited for us when we were arrived in Hato airport.

Strategic and comfort appartement

This studio apartment was worth the value because of its neat, clean and well kept environment. The apartment was fully furnished ,  air conditioned, free WiFi, secure parking, LED TV with cable and a well equipped kitchen.  The compound was safe, secure and spacious. The staff was very helpful and friendly in providing assistance and advice of what to do in curacao. 

This apartment is ideal with just 10 mins walk to the bus terminal, the city of Punda with nearby access to countless restaurants and bars. 

I had a great time and highly recommend this apartment rental. 

PERFECT STUDIO IN CURACAO

Booked this as it seemed a nice property from the website... believe us it is not. It is true it is close to the city centre, but in the worst part of Willemstad, but much closer to the busiest road in Curacao. So forget you will sleep with open windows. The apartment was filthy, stains and hair everywhere and a death contraption powering the fridge next to the water basin... splash water and you will be fried. The stairs to the bed are so steep you are better off just jumping down. We are in our 20s and had difficulty going up, let alone an elderly couple.

I would recommend this... to my enemy. Did not spend the night as were afraid to touch anything. When contacting the manager/owner with our issues the only reply we got was "good luck"... 10 points to service.

Beware!

This little cottage within a garden setting was just for my budget and for a time to relax
The bedroom , bathroom and kitchen sink etc was just what I needed for my tight budget.
I was able over three night to sleep well, stock up at local store and just relax on the verandah.
It's not luxury, but basic accommodation. Not far from town, which is within 30 mins walking distance( I'm a slow walker)
Your host is very pleasant and picks you up and deposit you at the airport for$20 each way.
A restful stay was had by me.
