Simply the best, I had a great time and enjoyed the stay there.
The service, food and facilities were amazing beyond expectation.
I enjoyed playing at the casino too, all was great.
I travelled with 3 other friends, we had a great time and enjoyed the facilities too.

We went to Northern Cyprus to a Backgammon Tournament which was held at the Merit Park Hotel.
Having never been to this area before we were amazed at how fantastic this hotel was both for hard working  staff, the location and sea views.  We helped ourselves to food three times a day and there was everything you could imagine to choose from.  The pool area with three pools was superb for family.
Unfortunately not many people in this area spoke English but due to our Translate phone app we had no problems.  Will definitely be back there next year.

A new experience in Northern Cyprus

They’re really racist. They don’t like people of color, especially Black people. They’ll attend to other Turkish/white guests before they attend to a black person. All my friends had a terrible experience, they gave our reservations out and did not give us a valid reason. Each time we tried to go in person to reserve again they don’t attend to us. It’s really sad how they profile people.

Racism.

Advantages - an excellent casino, spacious and comfortable rooms, convenient shuttle services between the various hotels and an excellent beach.

Disadvantages - very impolite service - reflected everywhere in the hotel. The rules are very strict to the point of being ridiculous at Gymboree - for example there is a room suitable for ages 0-4 and a room suitable for ages 4-10, if a parent comes with 2 sisters, one of whom is celebrating his 4th birthday in two weeks and the other is 5 - they cannot play together in the same room .
The bar is not really "all inclusive" - ​​there are many drinks that are not included in the deal and are only served for an additional fee.
Although the food is plentiful and looks good, it doesn't taste good :/
It is known that there are shows at the hotel - but if you do not come on the weekend - you do not get to see them.

In conclusion - a very beautiful, luxurious and clean hotel - however, the service is very bad and the attitude towards guests is disrespectful and rigid, good casino, bad food.

We enjoyed the vacation overall, do not regret that we went, but we will not go back there

Disadvantages outweigh advantages

We just arrived 
Front desk have no money exchange 
They had an issue accepting my money cause it’s printed long time ago
Suggested I should walk to the near by casino to exchange my money! 

They were so focused on the money they didn’t even explain anything like basic things- where is the damm dining room? 🤷🏻‍♀️ 

New and beautiful but service… not 5 stars for sure

Beautiful but low service

The decor of the public areas is beautiful. Luxurious comfortable chairs. Wonderful
ambiance. Service is fantastic, Staff always eager to help. Many A La Carte Restaurants.
There is also a Daily hotel pass available. The Hotel is top notch.

WOW!

We stayed in the Merit Premium for 2 weeks in October last year.  We were very impressed with the hotel, the beach and the sea, the water was still warm enough to swim.  The décor of the public areas was really beautiful.  The food was really good every day with lots of choice.  There wasn't a lot of vegetarian dishes at all but I found plenty to eat without special dishes.  we had Drinks at the Royal in the outside bar which was also lovely, 
The shuttle bus into Kyrenia was great and always on time.
We had one criticism in our room which is a shame as the room itself was amazing and clean apart from a terrible drain smell in the bathroom.  We ignored this and didn't complain as everything else was so amazing.

Fabulous Hotel

Been here several times. The last time a week ago had a shock. Soup came in the tiniest bowl my husband and I had ever seen. And the meal had definitely shrunk!!!  Shame because the food is good but will not go there again. 

DRAGON CHINESE RESTAURANT

Huge complex with a lot if varieties of lounges and other lovely places to enjoy. Food food food 24 hours drinks and all.
We had a wedding invitation there and it was a lovely service!
The room is huge and has a lot of comfort. 


Very nice

This is a holiday for a lifetime. I didn't want it to end. Great holiday and great stuff . Amazing food and friendly chefs always smiling... we are greeted as family. Our room is so spacious,  cozy and tidy... the view from our room was superb . We enjoyed every moment ..the beache ...the pool ...the weather the service  . we feel luxury and royalty.. . The spa is just perfect as the hotel itself...i liked it so much.. I would like to thank everyone for making my holiday so special. I should also mention that the casino inside the hotel is also great and special. I enjoyed. I can't wait for my next vacation to return to this hotel ..we are planning to visit again at Xmas.  Merit royal hotel and casino ... you deserve 10 stars not 5..... ❤much love and respect.
