We were apprehensive after reading the reviews, we booked before reading them and I panicked. It is our honeymoon and I thought I had made a mistake. HOWEVER we arrived to a lovely receptionist who checked us in at 23.15 in the evening, she was lovely! We had previously before our trip emailed to inform the hotel that it was our honeymoon. We paid for a land view bungalow but got Instantly upgraded to pool view. The room is what you would expect, clean tidy and a big bathroom, fully working and clean. Our room had functioning air con and worked perfectly! The food is good, don't expect typical English dishes, it obviously costs a lot for the hotel to import so they serve local food. We ate here most of the time, when we didn't we went to the town centre via taxi. The receptionist is more than happy to ring and get you one. On our third night the management put a platter of fruit and bottle of wine in our room, and also delivered us a card by hand to congratulate us on our marriage. There is a shop across the road, a beach 200m away and the bar there is fantastic, good food and drink. I honestly felt a bit apprehensive about previous reviews, however we have enjoyed ourselves greatly here! Staff are lovely and friendly, other places accessible by bus or taxi. All in all we would come again no hesitation at all! Pools are amazing! Seeing as I am writing this while still here also speaks volumes! Enjoy and ignore previous reviews!We really have enjoyed ourselves!
