We had a 4 night stay here and it was great value for money. The rooms are spotlessly clean and although the bathroom was dated it was functional, everything worked and there was plenty of hot water. The balcony was fine for two people to sit out although the view was nothing to write home about.
We knew there were no kettle in the room so we took one with us, you had to pull the cabinet away from the wall and unplug the hairdryer to get to a usable plug socket but that was the only real frustration. The rooms are great value, the breakfast basic, no fresh oranges despite them being on hundreds of trees in the area, tinned peaches instead!
Take ear plugs if you are a light sleeper, the road didn't cause us a problem but other guests could be noisy when they returned at night.
The staff were friendly and helpful and Coco entertained us in the reception area for an hour while we waited for our taxi to the airport.
Staying here was a unique experience, I have never stayed anywhere with furry walls! The location is good with easy access to all the sights, bus station, harbour and mall.
A great value base for a few days exploring the area.

Great base for a short stay

This hotel is not for everyone due to its unusual decor. It is very clean and the staff are lovely. As a B and B it would be fine, however, on a half board basis I found the evening meal very disappointing. As with most buffets the food was, at best, luke warm and very often cold. The choice was limited and uninspiring and as a dining experience it was entirely lack lustre. The pool area was pleasant and there were plenty of sunbeds. 
The hotel is positioned opposite Paphos’s main Mall which has a great range of shops.
It’s a 10 minute walk from the hotel to the harbour where there are bars and restaurants and a great long prom for walking.

Quirky

If you like places with a difference, quirky, friendly and at a reasonable price then this could be the place for you. 
It's a little tired in places but the murials more than make up for it! We would have liked the ability to make a hot drink in our room. The staff were always friendly, polite and keen to help. 
Location was good if you don't mind walking and exploring. Not for people who like to be close to the beach. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Great access to the local buses. Room to park if you want to hire a car. Overall we liked it! 

Quirky quarters.

Decoration of this hotel in general and especially room decoration inside  seemed a bit too excessive to me.
Big designs inside my room and strong red colour in some parts makes the room a bit not very calm,but anyway I was not spending too much time in my room,rather I was out to visit places.
Toilet is a bit worn out and old but was fine, bed not very comfortable enough (hard) but clean.
Big window which you can easily open and sit in your terrace and admire the lovely garden with swimming pool, a lot of deck chair to relax.
Breakfast you can find a big selection of hot food (most likely cooked English breakfast) and selection of continental but no croissants.
I went  down once to check dinner, it looked yummy, very well presented.
The hotel is very near to Harbour Station (1km), main station which is connected with buses from Paphos airport and 15 minutes from Old Town,with short walk of ten minutes you can enjoy a stroll along the sea.
Basically was a good stay and they have lovely staff, very well trained and polite.

Questionable decoration but generally good!

This hotel is well priced and central for the beach, pubs, shops and restaurants of Paphos. It's a bit designer with a theme of Mythology, it's fantastically decorated and the staff are superb.Thanks to the reception staff who go the extra mile and to the restaurant staff as well who serve great food with free smiles! Children are well- received as well, we noticed. Family-type hotel, the staff are delightful people, all of them. Nothing is too much trouble, we had a great stay thank you. The place is spotless, we will be delighted to stay there again. Thank you so much. Oh the pool was being renovated while we were there so check if it's back in action - I assume it will be soon - this didn't deter us as we are not pool worshipers! See you next year!

Little Gem Ideally placed with wonderful staff

We simply loved the decor in this hotel. You could not help but smile at it - Roman paintings together with leopard print fur! Some of it was baffling, some suggestive, but all hugely entertaining, and no doubt a lot of work had gone in to it. Apart from the decor, all the staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. The bar was reasonably priced and the breakfast buffet had a surprisingly good selection, including pancakes with nutella! Great place! Only downside was that the pool was under refurbishment when we were there.

Totally unique and brilliant hotel!

If you like your hotels all magnolia and strait laced, this may not be the place for you. But, if you like a bit of colour and quirkiness in your life, hold on to your hat - the Roman Boutique could be ideal! I have never stayed anywhere quite like this before... great fun! Although everything seems bigger than it is, rooms really are a decent size with balcony, fridge, tv and en suite. (A kettle in the room would have been nice). Beds seem a tad low but we slept really well. A pretty pool outside which unfortunately for us was closed for maintenance, but they have to do that some time and our February deal was so good, they are forgiven! Bet it’s stunning in the summer though. A buffet breakfast in the spacious restaurant is varied enough to cater for most tastes and appetites and there is also a buffet available in the evenings - not quite fine dining but it is fine, and very cheap! Plenty of other restaurants within a short walk and the hotel is quite central for the harbour/beach/town/mall etc.  Friendly staff and a lovely (slightly crazy) atmosphere. Definitely a memorable place!

Anything but bland!

We are a young couple in our 20’s looking for something a little different and found this hotel’s design was absolutely stunning and completely unique. The attention to detail in all areas of the hotel is incredible. There are beautiful drawings, artwork and architectural features throughout. All of the staff were friendly and welcoming, especially the bar man Ion, who gave us a tour in our arrival to the hotel and gave us information about the local area. The only negative encounter was with a very rude chambermaid who tutted and said something in another language whilst storming away when I asked her if she could come back to clean our room in 30 mins. The hotels location is perfect! Walking distance to the harbour, the shopping mall and the bus stops. I was really disappointed that the pool was shut for refurbishment as we had some lovely sunny days and would have liked a swim! We were told by reception to go to another hotel but they said it was not warm enough to use their pool. We were told in a message through our booking company about the closure but this was 4 days before our holiday was due to start so couldn’t do much about it! We did sit out on the sun loungers with a drink which was nice. The hotel room was immaculate with a comfy queen size bed! Although it was located at the front of the hotel near the entrance we could not hear the traffic from the road. We had breakfast included in our package, nice set up with lots of food to choose from. I would definitely recommend this hotel for its character, location and cleanliness. 

Stunning hotel! 

The hotel is unusual, ideal for couples. The food was fresh. Breakfast good, wide choice and evening meals good. Staff are lovely and helpful. When we did have an issue which was a hard mattress it was changed within 20 minutes which was amazing .
Bar staff were good and large range of cocktails available.

Nice hotel, quirky and different. 
The parrots in reception were a cute extra.
Clean hotel noting too much hassle. 

Only down side is pool was down for planned maintenance, would have been nice for a courtesy email prior to arrival as we had a nice couple of days and would have liked a dip in the pool.
