Nice apartments  but definitely dated  and in need of a good revamp during the winter. Friendly staff, great if you are a diver, near beach and diving school, or like a quiet pool. Restaurant  called Happy is very close by and has excellent food and very friendly staff. Three local supermarkets nearby. The steps into the pool aren't suitable for people with mobility problems. Need to make steps less steep and add a hand rail. This needs to be done as a priority. Pool bar was closed and also pool toilet steps were very steep and no hand rail, so not suitable for people with a  disability .

Okay. Bit dated. Pool steps not suitable for people with mobility issues. Happy restaurant excellent.

Maricosta Apartments is strategically located at the heart of the Pernera area. Right opposite it there are two big supermarkets; it is only a couple of minutes’ walk from the main road where there is a pharmacy, the bus stop and a plethora of shops, bars and restaurants. And it is roughly a four minutes’ walk from the popular sandy Kalamies Beach.

Maricosta Apartments is a family owned and run business. Daily, the owners are on the scene keeping the customers under their personal care.  Other members of staff are very courteous, helpful and efficient at all times. 

We stayed at Maricosta Apartments for the period 19-26/8/2023 in a single-bedroom apartment. We have been going to Maricosta for the last nineteen years; yet again, they lived up to and enhanced their reputation: our apartment was spacious, spotlessly clean, well equipped and well maintained. Moreover, everything in it was fully functional. Also, there was free Wi-Fi Internet connection that was very powerful too.

We recommend Maricosta Apartments unreservedly and are looking forward to going back there again!


Ideal place for beach holidays!

We stayed in Maricosta more than 4 times in the period of a year… comfortable apartments walking distance to the amazing beach by Kalamies restaurant. The staff is attentive to every request especially related to small children. We even had complimentary fruits and vegetables offered to us. We will re visit this summer! Good and fair price. Highly recommended! Swimming pool was nice too. Chilled out environment for families and not only.

Attentive staff and lovely location

I stayed with my boyfriend at Maricosta Apartments in May. The apartments are family run and we received a friendly welcome when we arrived. The apartment was basic but comfortable and exceptionally clean. There were shutters on the bedroom and lounge patio doors and heavy curtains in the bedroom so the bedroom was lovely and dark for sleeping. The owners were present during our stay but not overbearing. They kindly brought us a watermelon from their farm on-site which was delicious. Pool area was clean and tidy and beach is short walking distance. Plenty bars and restaurants nearby and regular bus service to Protaras, Paralimni and Ayia Napa.

Lovely stay at Maricosta Apartments

I stayed here in late September with my daughter in one of the 2 bedroom villas and  had a lovely time. The villa was spotless and the pool cleaned every day.  What lovely people.  we were about 5 minutes walk away from a beautiful beach and there were supermarkets nearby.  our host Andreas and the lady that cleaned the villa were lovely and nothing was too much trouble for them.  I would definitely recommend this property and the surrounding area.  it was quiet near the villa so it was so peaceful if you want a relaxing time but just 2k away was the main town which was buzzing with lovely restaurants and bars and a beautiful beach which was Fig Tree Bay if you wanted something a bit more.  I will be going back again to this beautiful country.

VILLA RENTAL

I highly recommend this apartment, firstly because it is lovely and with everything you need for your holidays, secondly because it is strategically located: just a few minutes walk away you can find the beaches and restaurants, while a few kilometres away you can find the best beaches and Agya Napa!

All within reach!

The apartments have everything you need, a swimming pool, a beautiful playground. After a day, they bring a strawberry, tomatoes, cucumbers, pepper and onions. It takes 4-5 minutes to walk to the sea. Thank you very much to Andreas, Jule and all the staff!

Amazing hospitality

Great apartments are a good location. There is a swimming pool and a large green lawn with a great lawn. The owners have a good snack. There is a good beach 5 minutes down the street. There is a supermarket and a cafe. Three minutes up the road there are other restaurants and shops. It's a family-friendly holiday with children. There are both advantages and disadvantages. WiFi is smart, there are both common and private apartments. Parking is enough. Air conditioning costs 10 euros a day, but we've enjoyed a natural ride.

A good place for family recreation

We've been here for the third week in a row. You feel at home. A cozy swimming pool, a well-kept area, cleanliness and order. Every request is instantly answered by the entire staff. Thanks to Andreas for his energy, he's always doing something, everything is in his sight. His assistants Antonia and Adriena (Bulgarian) speak and understand Russian. Cleaning every day, they change the underwear in 2-3 days. What really surprised me is that they wash even all the laundry around the hotel's area about once a week. Of course the furniture is a little tired, but every year there is a lot of improvement. This year free wifi in every room! Next year we're going to come back again!

A wonderful vacation.

Maricosta is a family business, run by the owners Costakis and Maria together with their son Andreas and their son-in-law Andreas. They are all very professional in their approach and are on the scene on a daily basis, keeping the customers under their personal care.  Other members of staff are very friendly, helpful and efficient at all times.  

The whole family of ours stayed at Maricosta for the period 18-25/8/2018 in a single-bedroom apartment, on the first floor. We made our booking over the phone, way back in April – a wise thing to do given the demand for these apartments during the month of August. The booking process – as always – proved to be simple, easy and hassle-free.

Maricosta Apartments is strategically located at the centre of the Pernera area: it is only approximately a four minutes’ walk from the popular sandy Kalamies Beach; there are two big supermarkets literally opposite it; and the High Street (where there is a plethora of bars, restaurants, souvenir shops and bus stops) is only about 300 metres away.

Our apartment was spacious, very clean, well equipped and very well maintained. This year there was a brand new fridge (of full size this time), a microwave oven and free and effective Wi-Fi in the flats – so far the service was confined to the reception area only. Moreover, everything in the apartment was fully functional.

There was a swimming pool too in the complex which was kept very clean, with a kiosk nearby where one could order a snack or a drink.

We have been going to Maricosta for the last fourteen years. Every time they lived up to their reputation and enhanced it too; this time it was no exception. We look forward to spending our holidays there next year too!
